Excellent, thanks for sharing how to do that with us , it’s like most things easy once you know how! By the way, I got the “perfect tens” and I am very impressed 10 mins and the difference is quite amazing , so thankyou very much for the recommendation !

The older I become the more I understand _"it’s like most things, easy once you know how!"_ The problem is, for me, the lack of _know how_ 🤣 I have a half hour snooze most afternoons and, during the snooze, use the Tens machine on whichever area ails me most. I've found that a short snooze immediately after lunch, even only 5 - 10 minutes, works wonders for the rest of the day. I've done it most of my life.

@riderramblings i totally agree! there's nothing wrong with a power nap ! Great video. Thanks for making it and taking us along again, and I really do mean thanks for recommending the tens machine it's helped my knee and shoulder massively 🙏

You show a pair of locking pliers as well as the pipe grips (and circlip pliers etc). At what stage did you use those?
@riderramblings10 ай бұрын
They were to hold the paperclip to give a longer reach. I couldn't get my hand into the space whilest holding the paperclip. That's how tight the space is.

Ah, I see. Nice job.

I was hoping to do this all from the left hand side but that foesnt sound possible?

You need to empty the radiator. To get to the radiator cap you have to loosen and/or remove the right side fairing (unless you've done the modification of cutting the piece of inner fairing above the radiator cap). When putting the o-rings on you need access from both sides as the gap isn't much more than 2 mm ish.

@@riderramblings thank you! My mirror bolts are absolutely seized, I've dealt with the left hand side and I hoped I'd get away with it

@@KarlOliver-f3f I don't know what you have tried on the mirror bolts but here are some suggestions. They can be used in combination with each other. I would do it in this order 3 then 2 then 1: 1. Try tightening them *very* slightly before trying to loosen them. 2. Put a hot soldering iron on the bolt head for a while *_Don't touch the plastic or let it start to melt._* 3. Plus Gas or similar reapplying every 2-4 hours for about 24 hours or so. Failing that, you can cut the inner plastic above the radiator cap so you can get the cap off.

@@riderramblings that cut out was already done by a previous owner so I can get to that cap no worries. It's just the room around the pipe, i guess I can get the plastic off and if I can get to it easily I might be able to do it left side only
