Sucks they didn't spread out the features. SR didn't even get a spotlight even after reaching the grand finals. They could've at least focused on them once they were winning. Why did they also gloss over the Robwiz thing. They at least still could've included that without it taking over the narrative. Felt like they picked 3 teams and that's it.
@Masa6x Жыл бұрын
I agree. It was def like a C9, G2, TL show, and I personally think they missed with the robwiz thing in terms of how riot handled it in general. If you look at CSGO arguably the king of esports, stuff like that isn't even worthy of a fine, much less a suspension. If they want GC to be like coed and viewed the same, with as wide of an appeal, they can't baby people. Him doing that is not that deep, and if anything any sorta "bad blood" and intense storylines draws more eyes, rather than "unprofessionalism" turning them away. Documentary was fire tho in all
@jaceee6395 Жыл бұрын

@twahahaha Жыл бұрын
honestly, there’s not a big ‘reason’ as to why they don’t have co-ed teams - a lot of other esport games have co-ed teams, the one I remember being an EU team in Apex Legends. I think a lot of teams want to avoid controversy because they’re scared of rifts within the team etc. Furthermore, there are so many more men playing in esports so there is already so much competition to try and get on to a pro team. Imagine being a girl competing against these guys for the same spots but with the prejudice of “oh, she’s a girl”. If you mess up as a guy, then your skill would be blamed most likely but as a girl, your gender would be blamed sadly because of how the world is :(

riot is intentionally developing the pool of female valorant players. the pool for good players that can go pro is already small, it's even smaller for women. they're hoping that having a female-specific league will give more women the opportunity to develop professional-level experience and move towards co-ed. Also, a lot of female valorant players to this day don't even use voice comms because there are sexists in the game. there's a lot of hidden potential that will probably not see professional play because valorant can still be hostile to women. having women specific leagues will make those girls think that they have opportunities where they won't be harassed for being a woman and will increase the pool of professional women as well.
@thrivinganarchy5267 Жыл бұрын
