I see the band gets it's own guard who dress forward on leaving barracks. Is this new or something I have just noticed recently? I would hazard a guess that if new, they have a full mag.

Nicely put together but surely still all bit of a joke/laugh by whomever the foot soldiers were! Forming up and right dress was by a bunch of unpracticed blind guys. But the band held up its' honour.

Neither would I use "whomever" but in particular I would not waste my time commenting on whatever it was about. You took a year to write your piece. U can go back to sleep now.

By the way I did 25 years in the British Forces including 18 months boy entrant training with near daily parades. so I probably have as much practical experience and knowledge as yourself. I will not stoop to comment on your ignorant assumptions.

I am not the Dennis Thompson who made the critical comment . That writer didn't recognise the Guards uniform nor read the articles title. I suspect a wind up job from a squaddie of another guards' regiment
