As much as i love any car mecanic related video i cant say how much i aprecciate a video like this, so clean, methodical, silent with great love and attention, with almost no mess and great order on the tools, amazing, just as i love to do things! Great video and great car, my mom actually have the basic version of that model, beautifull car.

I use Loctite 242 ( blue ) on the threads of drain plug with no problems of leaking , another good video !

It's also called a tamper seal if your a dealer or some kind of organization marking the drain plug makes sure the oil change has been done already so it doesn't need to be drained and more importantly it prevents the customer from draining the oil after the service and coming back claiming theirs was no oil in the car or claiming the bolt was not tighten.

Nice video! About the flickering in the video. Seams like you are living in DE. Most of the EU countries use 50Hz (PAL) power supply. In US (etc) they use 60Hz (NTSC) and some GoPro have NTSC set as default settings. The wrong hertz (Hz) makes the light to flickering in video. Change to PAL and test record a video, aim to a light source (try different lights) and it should flickering at NTSC but be OK in PAL. Good luck!

Its not better or worse than other oils. But its made out of natural gas and therefore its very clean oil. For an AMG engine its important to use 0W40/5W40 oil with MB-Approval 229.5. And this Shell oil is MB approved.

Eine Trockensumpfschmierung bekommt man aktuell nur beim AMG GT oder früher beim SLS AMG. Der neue A45 W177 hat in der Ölwanne immerhin Schwallbleche.
