CHANGING THE STARTER ON JOHN DEERE 318 THE WRONG WAY PLUS MAINTENANCE

IN THIS VIDEO I SHOW HOW TO CHANGE A STARTER ON A JOHN DEERE 318 LAWN TRACTOR... AT LEAST THAT WAS THE PLAN. MISTAKES WERE MADE. i SHOW WHERE I GOOFED AND THE RESULTS SO HOPEFULLY YOU WONT HAVE THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO YOU. HAVE A LAUGH OR 2 AT MY EXPENSE. THIS IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT. I ALSO GO THROUGH PRESEASON MAINTENANCE, CHANGE THE OIL CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER MAKE MY OWN GRILLE AND MY RAPPING DEBUT WITH A HORRIBLE COVER OF GRILLZ BY NELLY

thank you. it seemed like everything that could go wrong did. I considered scrapping the whole video but thought my misfortunes may help someone have an easier time plus have a good time at my expense

Thanks for posting this, it was super helpful for me. Need to change starter. I like that you did it without hoisting the engine out but just wedging the engine up with wood shims

Question: Could the starter be removed once you removed that lower pan?

I have not seen any way to get it out short of pulling the engine, wedging a block in to hold it up vs completely removing the starter appears to be the only shortcut. If someone knows a better way I'm all ears cause this is a real pain to change the starter on these
