Changing the view size of Outlook's email messages and replies

When you open an email message in Outlook the default Zoom level is 100% and for many people that's too small. How can you set the zoom level higher and make it stick? And what about when replying to emails? That text size is often also too small to see as you are typing. How can you adjust that permanently? Watch this quick video to find out.

OMG! Thank you thank you!!! I was clicking away yesterday and somehow shrunk my outgoing emails! They were 12 points but it was really small and it was hard to see!! I was looking everywhere trying to figure out. Finally decided to google what happened and then found you! Thank goodness! Now I know where I can make it bigger or smaller and keep it at the correct font size. Thank you so much! 😃😊

Do you know how to change the main page of outlook (at 00:38, the screen on the left). I cannot figure out out to enlarge that screen (as if you just opened up your email). Any help would be appreciated.

So I clicked on the "show original size" hidden icon using chrome and windows 11 and now I can't undo it. How do I go back to the way the email was shown before I hit it? Now all emails that come in from that party are shown in a different size, text and layout/display and print an extra 3 or more pages than before. I just Want it back to the way it was before I hit that hidden icon. Please help!

Nicely Done... Outlook 2021 - Is there a way to set the zoom percent for the reading pane and leave the email message at 100%? My reading pane is at the right side of my screen. I.e. When I set the zoom level in the reading pane to 60% (so it fits the message into the reading pane) that becomes the zoom level for the email message as well. That is too small
