Okay Tristan needs a cooking show called Gross To Good! I would eat that and I am a pretty picky eater. I am not fond of sauces on my food but yes I could eat that probably. And that brisket omgosh!! Amazing and I in my 50’s have been inspired to try to cook a brisket for the first time ever.

I've loved tomatoes for as long as I can remember. A couple of roma tomatoes chopped up in a bowls with feta cheese, a little salt and pepper and a splash of olive oils is a favorite snack. But I can totally understand Savannah having a problem with the texture. I have the same problem with mushrooms, especially with they're cooked.

I’m currently growing 60 tomato plants in my back yard 😂 Bedsides texture for some, there are so many that haven’t had an actual vine ripened tomato. Tomato’s have so many different acidity levels. My daughter won’t eat ketchup. Hates tomatoes. I have found two in her 26 years that she will eat. A Sun Sugar it’s and orange cherry. And a Black Krim, on a blt. They are less acidic. The sun sugar is sweet and the Black Krim has a smooth almost smoky flavor and the texture is amazing 🙌🏻💖 Like my favorite gardener says. Store bought tomatoes are a disappointment 🤷🏼♀️

I'm from Maryland and our fresh home grown tomatoes are delicious. A b.l.t. with tomatoes fresh from the garden are a treat. The best time to pick them locally is late August early September. They start ripening earlier but really get going late in the season. Hothouse tomatoes have no flavor in my opinion.

Hi Aaron how are you doing? It's good to see Tristan in your videos, I would have to try a piece of tomato to see if I like it. And I love my spaghetti bolognese with Napolitano sauce, pizza is one of my favourite foods to eat when I go out for dinner once in a while. I'm not a huge fan of olives or tomatoes. As I have karate training session later on here in Australia it will be a late night for me from 7-8:30 pm by the time I am home it will be 9 pm because I have a late dinner before going to bed.

Just a suggestion, make it a blind taste test. The kids shouldn't know what they are eating. Some kids put their biases before they eat so it defeats the purpose.

Tomatoes are great for colon health, Max!
@lindadriessen90273 ай бұрын
Personally I wouldn't call any food gross. It's more about the way the product is prepared. To alternate the process of cooking or combining is a way to get used to flavours and textures. Home made pizza topping can be adjusted to a consumer's palate. We don't need to have the same tastes or appreciations, but we can try the different ways of cooking. It's not only the cook who makes the food appetising, it is also the mindset and love for food of the eater. Don't forget to taste whilst cooking.

Another awesome dish Tristan. Tomatoes...i was never a big fan. Recently incorporating grape tomatoes into dishes...mostly pasta salads. People would always say, " do you like ketchup?" Of course i do. "What do you think ketchup is made of?" Alright you got me. Final word on tomatoes...i like the hard outer skin part of tomatoes, i do not like the mushy inside part.
@nonondriessen3 ай бұрын
Firstly, cook with good produce. Tomatoes are delicious fruit and can be consumed raw, cooked, dried, fried, baked, stuffed, grilled, juiced or as a cold summer soup. Educate yourself on all the varieties and discover your good preparatio.

Some varieties of tomato have a hard; solid inside with less juice Bur the mushy insides are good for soup, pizza topping or pasta sauce. Even for smoothies

I'm with the kids. I can't stand tomatoes. I don't even like chunky salsa, spaghetti sauce ect. It's both a texture thing and the taste which makes me gag any time I eat a bite of tomatoes but luckily I now have a reason to avoid them because I have severe acid reflux and tomatoes definitely kick my reflux in full gear.
