its always best to just spend more and get a rotor change as well since you already got the pads

Not really my trucks and cargo vans usually do 2-3 sets of pads for one set of rotors

You're throwing away your money if you replace your rotors every time you change your brake pads!
@DoThingsYk
@DoThingsYk 7 ай бұрын
You really only need to change your rotors if they're worn down. And they only wear down if you pads are worn all the way down. If the surface is smooth and doesn't have any ridges then you can save a couple hundred bucks
@A4rings110
@A4rings110 12 күн бұрын
@@DoThingsYkyour rotors will really never be fully flat after you have ran through a set of pads. You should at the very least have them turned or replaced

Just remember to open your brake reservoir before pushing the caliper piston back. And be sure to pump the brake pedal before shifting into gear… I made that mistake and almost needed a new seat cover 😅

@@MEWASTREL basically, you open the resevoir so there will be no pressure when you push the caliper piston. And you pump the brakes the to bring back the pressure otherwise your brakes aint gonna brake
