Doing variety content is hard, but as long as it makes you happy while doing them, then it's worthwhile. Don't force yourself into doing something that will likely not give you a good time. There may be people shitting on you, but as long as there are people still watching and liking your content, don't be hard on yourself. I still look into your videos whenever you do upload stuffs that I'm familiar with (mainly Warframe and FFXIV).

ESO was , the more you play the worst it feels. when you hit max level as a new player, you immediately hit with mastery grind.

Well it's a shame that I will never see the full Behemoth that would have been that ESO video, but your reasoning is more than understandable. I got to know you from your Warframe (meme) vids, and although I also played FF14 for a while I never got deep enoeugh into it. Thanks for that snippet insight anyways, the monetisation of ESO is a Ripoff, I also really hated the way endgame rotation played (with animation cancels) back in 2020, I think they changed that. Still not enough to get me back to play again.

Man, I can't help but feel incredibly sorry for poor uncle Zana. Looking at the content he's made (and somehow still makes), he doesn't deserve this. Indeed, it's not even a matter of money anymore; whether for viewers or creators, every single update youtube makes to its plataform just makes it increasingly worse, and the copyright abuse is just one of the bigger, more extreme examples. And, I can definetly relate and agree to some of the stuff said in here: * ESO's monetization.... even having it for an already paid game is a problem, but they're not content with that; fallout 76 must've awakened something in bethesda, because now they REALLY get off on giving their players the finger. * Josh strife hayes has, in the past, done incredibly shallow reviews of games, and gotten to the point of complaining that an RPG gives the player the FREEDOM to explore what they want to do next. To me, he's so far from credibility that him using "anime" as an adective isn't even enough to damage the dude's image anymore. * people whiteknighting games........ buddy, have you ever tried saying anything, and I mean ANYTHING negative, about Elden Ring or the souls series? probebly yes, but DAMN. I distinctively remember trying to criticize it constructively, only to get hounded by folks almost TRYING to make the discussion go un-civil. Several gaming comunities have gotten addicted to Stockholm Syndrome lately, and it doesn't seem like it's ending any time soon.....

31:01 sort of explains it - I tried rendering a section of the video and it crashed Sony Vegas after 4 hours, so splitting the video didn't really help

Yeah I was making an allegory that I kinda dropped halfway - the example was "imagine if you had to pay for prophecy" which is what ESO dungeon DLC nickel and diming is

I loved ESO but after ~100hrs the content behind paywalls was too much, i realized that they spend way too much time working on ways to milk the players even more, it could've been such a great MMO. YT algorythim is fcked, you have to make actual dumb videos if you want views, i have seen so many good YT'ers go down that rout and do videos the way YT demands, some of them even say that they dont want that but they have to. I think its decent of you to not jump on that train and keep making videos the way you want.
