Remember one of the greatest studios in reggae music history “Channel One” was not founded by black people. Without the Hoo Kim brothers reggae music would have been completely different. Reggae music is, and always will be at its core a Jamaican music - but anyone with a knowledgable understanding of the music with know it’s foundational influences come from many places.
