Amen, Sistah! IG influences us to buy more whether it’s fashion or decor. It’s hypnotizing and expensive. In the end we all end up looking the same and our homes look the same.

Great video and it was nice to hear where you're coming from and your personal connection to this challenge. I completely agree that there is a desire to keep purchasing in the fast fashion cycle that's hard to break. I'm hoping this challenge will help me do just that!

Over the last 8+ years I've lived with a personal uniform. It's made chosing what I wear each day so easy and laundry is quick. I concentrate on jewelry statement pieces to change the look of my outfits along with various hair styles. This year I started on a simple (and free) weight loss plan of tracking and keeping my calories at a rate to lose 1lb a week. I never dreamed this would work without modifying my diet drastically and/or working out aggressively. But it is!! I've only changed my calorie intake so far and I've lost 15 lbs and it's been 15 weeks. I can see the possibility of reaching my goal weight by next year. I mention all this because the idea of buying my new personal uniform along the way is scary. I know shirts and sweaters will work for me for a lot longer than pants. But at some point I will have to buy those items and I wish it was easy. I don't want to waste money. I want to buy with the things you mentioned in mind. I wish I knew which brands to look towards. I'm short so I wish petite clothing is possible. But tailoring always looks the best as not all petites, or talls, or normals are alike. Maybe tailoring is the answer so clothes can be taken in as I lose weight. I don't know. :-) But I encourage you to keep in mind those of us trying to lose weight while encouraging your audience. Perhaps add to Instagram and your planner wardrobe inserts these things: 1. The best ways to adjust your personal wardrobe with weight changes (maternity, gaining weight, losing weight). 2. Another section for choosing the best under garments as a good bra makes a difference or spanx. 3. Selecting accessories to change looks from casual, to fun, to serious. 4. Changing items for seasons (including hot flashes). 5. Ideas for ways to give back each time you don't "fast buy". Perhaps giving the $ you would have spent to a charity offering clothing for areas facing issues you mentioned. And finally, each section could provide you content for a video or two and Instagram while continuing to remind your audience about the 20in2020. Let me know if I need to clarify an idea. I wish you and your family all the best!! 💕
