I'm proud to say, a few years ago I went to the Delta museum in Atlanta to their Class D sim, and was able to land the 737-200 on my first try without any assistance. The subsequent landings, I asked for random failures and got it down 3/4 times. After covid, I'm definitely gonna go back. Best money ever spent.

Oh and I loved the FAQ format. It’s interesting to learn the backstory on things. Don’t let ignorant comments get to you. Just do your thing! I enjoy your content 👍🏼

Thank you for your video. It has been so long since I last saw your previous videos that a lot of your thoughts were over my head. That doesn't matter though it was really good to listen to you while playing Dr. Mario. I too don't like videos where people express their thoughts with minimal visuals and so playing a game as I listen keeps me focused. All in all it's a nice relief to listen and break away from the World's tensions. Best wishes with your training and until next video, take care.

I recently subbed with your turntable comparison video. Former EE and audiophile with CFII-MEL, ATP with three types and +10k hours :D. Good to see you pursuing the dream! I complete the PPSEL in 1990 and used MS Flight Simulator 5 to prep for an airline job in 2005 to be sharp in instrument flying for an interview. 3/100 flight attendants would be a benefit at the controls if both me and the FO had the fish. A good instructor will teach you to fly any aircraft using tha ASI or MFD speed tapes but time in a level D sim will drive it home with more realism. Get the MEL and see if you can get the 37 type add on once you do. As a student pilot I never red screened a B-1b level D with less than 30 hours Piper/Cessna time lol! An airplane is an airplane and I've had FOs break into applause after I've hand flown an airliner from FL200 to a night visual to a 28ft MSL coastal airport using visual key points. If you've got the big picture you can safely land any airplane. Good Luck!!

Are you going to have the Mohs surgery? Excellent stuff - my wife had it done recently with fantastic results. Best of luck to you with that and your flight training journey. I was recently gifted a pair of mid 80's Boston Acoustics T1000 towers in great shape. My dad donated his mid-80's Pioneer receiver which I am currently re-capping, and I dug my mid-80's Pioneer CD changer out of the attic and got that working with just a good internal cleaning. Can you recommend a turntable, maybe a Technix? Hahaha! I miss your vids but I can wait. Cheers and stay uninfected!

Not totally sure what type of surgery it is; just that it takes 2-5 hours for this little spot. Makes me wonder what the hell they're planning to do.

I tried recommending this same ebay way of determining worth in a facebook group recently, got TONS of hate just for mentioning that word. It's still the best way to see what people will pay for something though.
@ModernClassic4 жыл бұрын
I wonder what people suggested as an alternative. Those are prices people are actually paying for things; that is what value is. Anything else ranges from a guess to a fantasy.

Down near the end, I was thinking of Airport '75: " There's no one left to fly the plane (Nancy, stewardess)!"
@ModernClassic4 жыл бұрын
That's one of my favorite movies :) I have the Airport movie box set on Blu-Ray, which is a fun thing to own. I watch one of them every once in a while. Of course all of those except maybe the first one are totally unrealistic, but who cares. "Airplane" is about as realistic as the other three.

No, that's my sell pile. I've been into model railroading all my life, but don't have the room for it anymore.

Do you see yourself making vintage computer content again?
@ModernClassic4 жыл бұрын
Yes; I just need to finish getting things set up so I have a little more room. Right now that's still one thing I have no way to film. Once I'm fully unpacked and have everything set up properly, I should be able to do that.

Dude I've seen several videos, not even by people who were flown out, who have said "MS2020 has beaten XPlane!" "Round one is over!" Like, it's not even out. All you've seen are marketing materials, you idiot.
