Good evening Ken, Are you having a multiple vessel "Bypass Graft" or a "Valve replacement"?? If it's the former. See if the Surgeon plans on using the "Internal Mamery Artery" It has the highest success rate and lowest chance for vessel occlusion-vs-using the "Femoral" or "Saphenous" veins. I did eight years of "Surgical ICU" and a number of post open heart and Bypass patients. Good Luck and have a trusted person, please update the channel as to your status???? Cheers, Mate.

Very sorry to hear of your health problems. Your situation is an example of 2 things, 1) getting older is not for the weak (I am 72) and nothing good happens in a swamp or swamp like environment. Best wishes for a successful procedure and a speedy recovery. Even though you have been absent from KZbin for several months whenever I need something to lift my spirits I turn to your videos to be reminded of the beauty of nature all around us. You are and will remain in my prayers.

Hi Kenneth. thanks for sharing. FYI my cousin had the same procedures done. and he smoked throughout his life. the procedure really improved his life. a month after the procedure he couldn't believe how good he felt. 7 weeks later he was walking several miles and lifting light weights under the strick guideline of a therapist. it's well worth the procedure. the last weeks before the procedure he had to sit up in bed to sleep and hour here and there. I will be praying for you. but your in such great shape from walking you will be just fine and recover quickly. God Bless brother..

I was a medical microbiologist in the past, and worked in an area where many Veterans of the Second World War had been Japanese prisoners of war. They would suddenly come up with issues which would invariably end up being related to parasites which were still inhabiting their system from their time as prisoners of war. It was quite confusing for the medical teams at first, because these parasites were tropical ones (I am in the UK) Who would have thought that something picked up decades previously could cause such issues years later!!

Hi Kenneth I had AF also had a cryo ablation.. it took a while to heal... but luckily i have returned to health. The AF is cured. Take blood thinners even after you are better... it was recommended to me. Take care. Good wishes to you.

Hi Ken, if you need anything while resting up just let us know. I would be glad to send you books to read. My father-in-law went through something similar in his early 70s and got a pacemaker. He is now 86 and said he felt better after the procedure. Still cuts his 10 acres. Had much more air in his lungs. We are all praying for you and looking forward to your return. Until you can get outdoors you could teach us more from your couch than we will ever know on our own. Maybe you could do videos on your favorite books or share more stories on your favorite camping trips. Again, if you need books or snacks… write me and they are on their way!!! Good luck Ken! I presume you are doing a plant based diet. We too have had to slow down a bit. On August 30 I "slipped on a rock" at the base of Lower Kentucky Falls in Oregon. Cracked my head hard and crunched my back. Now doing PT. Anyway, if there is one thing I've learned from your videos it's that the Beauty of Nature is everywhere... we don't have to go far. We just have to learn how to look. 😍😍😍😉

Kenneth ! So glad to see you! I was thinking of you and your solo camping videos ( especially in the rain). And the total peace and relaxation that you expressed in them. They reminded me of the book “ Goodbye to a River “ by John Graves I was thinking of you for a few weeks and had forgotten your name and your tube channel. And then you just popped up right now, Sunday morning! Your solo camping/ hiking trips have really moved me to get back into fishing after my best fishing partner had passed away 12 years ago- - my dog. A brown Finnish Spitz. Bread as a small game hunting dog 🐕 I’m heading off to go fishing now, Sunday morning, before everyone gets up and realizes I’m gone. I was going to go to Home Depot on the way to get a tarp because it looked like rain and I didn’t want it to ruin my morning fishing. I'm sorry to hear about your recent health issues. I wish you good luck with the procedure and a speedy recovery. My father had a similar heart problem and after a medical procedure, he ended up recovering very well and even improving his overall health so anything is possible. In terms of videos, even videos in your neighborhood or inside your home would be of interest to me and I'm sure to others too. I've always enjoyed your videos not for the environment (although that is of course a bonus) but for your relaxing presence, enthusiasm and knowledge.
