channel updates - new kitchen, conservatory plumbing, recent events

today i'm giving you some updates for the channel. including showing the new kitchen, talking through events of the past 6-7 months, and showing the conservatory plumbing that's finally been fixed.

That kitchen is a great improvement, hope you enjoy it. You’ve got space for a dishwasher too - put one in the spare space and you can always hook up your washer on a semi permanent basis to wash race. And then use your conservatory for your washers permanently 😊. Also looking at your drain set up it should be very easy to set up another drain and I shouldn’t imagine it would be a problem to drain two effectively - you can get self cutting drain spigots that you could attach to the drainpipe you’ve already got :)

thank you, i agree the new kitchen is great. the idea is to have two machines in the kitchen permanently (LG and one other), and switch out the ones in the conservatory. as for drainage, we'll see. i may find a solution but to be honest im happy using just one machine at a time anyway

That’s cool, you can also get adapters which go on the top of a standard standpipe which allows two machines to drain into it :)

Loving the new setup, they look really good in there! Looks very similar to mine lol but with an extra space, how have you been finding the extending hoses? I’ve had a few machines on them before noticed it caused sudslocks abit more than it would’ve without

so far i haven't had issues. LG is still draining sufficiently, and i had IZ on an extender temporarily in the conservatory, and that drained absolutely fine without adding additional bursts. i can see why it would cause issues though.

Maybe the Hisense OR Hoover H-Wash 500, 550, 600 OR 700 inverter motor washing machines could go the vacant space in the kitchen.

Your indesit dryer is similar to my hotpoint one. Only difference is yours has a timer mine has a PCB

yeah, mine is the second most basic model. the most basic being the vented version
