I first saw Brian Simpson on David Spade's comedy central show Lights Out in 2019 and it was just a segment of the show where Spade introduced a new comic that most people didnt know about yet who HE thought were hilarious enough to give them 5 mins to do their material, and Brian had jokes and premises I'd never heard of or thought of before. He had this brilliant joke about lost dogs and thr signs people post when hoping someone will find it, he says "well, there two sides to every story. What if thet dog had a shitty owner and ran away. If you never see a dog thats run away it either isnt getting enough exercise and busted out to run around and got run over or it hauled ass as fast and as far away from that depressing boring existence it might have been living. You don't know. " I know i butchered it a bit as i dont remember it word for word but holy shit i was laughing so fuckin hard, hes an absolutely sharp, intelligent man and a DAMN GOOD COMEDIAN!!!
