@Goodie Russia invaded Ukraine because the Russian president wants to restore the vassal states that Russia lost when the Soviet Union collapsed. He has been working towards this goal for many years and would have proceeded much faster if he could. Please don't buy into the lies of Russian propaganda. There's no Nato threat to Russia's security. There's no genocide of the Russian speaking population in Ukraine. There's no neonazi government in Kiev, as Putin claims. By the way, Zelensky himself is a native Russian speaker and a jew, who's ancestors died in the holocaust. Pretty perserve to call him a neonazi. The real threat to Russia is its own government. And most Russians understand this, but they are too afraid to speak out. The democratic world needs to unite against dangerous regims like that of Putin. And yes, that costs tax payer's money. But it's necessary.

I'll never forget the cancel culture of 10-20 years ago, when Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich and Cynthia McKinney were being derided by the whole of the mainstream news media, the entire Democratic and Republican Party establishment and the majority of the American population for speaking the truth about the Neo-Con agenda. I just watched an old clip of a 2012 GOP debate - when Ron Paul gave what should have been an uncontroversial assessment of US foreign policy in the Middle East. The audience erupted in a chorus of boos, all the while the empty suits on the stage with RP made faces like they were listening to the ramblings of a lunatic. He stood there, un-phased and continued to speak truth in the face of the bullying tactics that the war machine ratcheted up. I could weep when I think of all the devastation that might have been avoided if this country had recognized the wisdom that this honest man was trying to share. I am reminded of the scripture, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you."

He just spoke the truth and didn't sell the narrative the establishment continually pushes. I wouldn't say that's ahead of his time, simply educated and honest...something voters could use more of as our congress is a direct reflection of their voters.

how so; jefferson gave money to a tyrant napoleon to buy louisianna while he murdered million in europe; the south was a totlitarian state like russia today, still is thats why we have opinions like yours, the founding fathers suffered..Five signers were captured by the British and brutally tortured as traitors. Nine fought in the Revolutionary War and died from wounds or hardships. Two lost their sons in the war, and two others had sons captured. At least a dozen of the 56 had their homes pillaged and burned. black people were slaves and raped in the south.......nothing was good; the founding fathers would prefer the opposite.

@Goodie Ukraine is your problem if you care about the people who live there. Of course, you can also adopt the attitude that you don't care what happens to people who live in other countries. That's your choice to make. As for me, I would happily pay a little more in taxes if it meant that children in Ukraine would not get bombed. As for you, you have to decide yourself what kind of person you want to be.

Nope and Nope. Thanks to the sanctions imposed in 2014, Russia is failing to get its goals in the war against Ukraine, without significantly large costs on their side.

1:15 "..... US trying to pick and choose the leadership of Ukraine .... " This is what US's democracy is all about, even leadership of a foreign country must be someone to their liking.

Because when USA likes the leadership in the country, it usually becomes Japan or South Korea. And when they are against USA, it usually turns into communist pseudo-china or r*ssia. We had two governments in Ukraine who were really against what USA would like. And both are/were corrupted idiots who ruined everything they reached to and are both largely responsible for not being prepared for this war.
