Couldn't disagree with you more. The potato I had for dinner tonight has more personality and charisma than Sunak ever could dream of having. He's a globalist elite that is going to destroy the UK and bring the British people down with him. If you think things are bad now, you just wait and see when the government, and their WEF backers, are controlling every minutiae of your daily life (e.g., CBDC).

How can Sunak blame Truss for the economy,when she was in charge for 6 weeks & he ran the economy for 2 years? Up until 3 months ago.
@JF-zv4oc2 жыл бұрын
Because it was her mini-budget that tanked the pound and caused the hikes in interest rates and the BoE to step to bail out govt bonds. Even in such a short time she managed to break the record for amount of damage a Tory pm and govt can do to this country and that’s saying something given the shitshow of the last twelve years.
@diogeneslamp80042 жыл бұрын
In most cases I would agree with you, but in her short tenure she detonated a bomb-the mini-budget-in an already teetering economy. This was such a ham-fisted attempt to introduce libertarian principles into the economy that everyone everywhere all at once realized she was precisely NOT the right person for the job.

@ fellow American here. Ur right. I saw a woman on BBC interviewing Truss right after she reversed her tax cuts and she was brutal. But it’s pointless to be a dogged interviewer when ur subject always gives the same programmed answer in a robotic monotone. Interviewer: “Prime Minister, is it true you had fish and chips for lunch today?” Lizzie: “I delivered on the energy crisis, dealing with people’s energy bills, but also dealing with the long-term issues we have on energy supply. And I will deliver on the National Health Service.” Interviewer: “excuse me? I was asking what you had for lunch…” Lizzie: “The fact is that the abolition of the 45p tax rate became a distraction from the major parts of our growth plan and for that, I’m sorry.”

Rees-Mogg isn't there, great, but the cabinet has been stuffed with the same useless, careerist and out of touch people as we have seen throughout the last twelve years. Fun Brexit Test - try sending a parcel on a delivery website from a British address to any address in Europe. Just to see how much you need to know and how long it takes to do it. Let's pick something easy like Argos pillows that you bought in Britain they you're sending to a friend in Europe. Do you know the tax code for pillows? Where were the materials sourced? After you do this you'll get a very good understanding of the delays and hassle it is for businesses. And you'll quickly realise why foreign businesses won't be selecting Britain for investment.
