I vote showing coaster stats after first ride. That way, you won’t get any pre conceived notions or expectations by knowing the stats first, and it will be fun to see the stats after the experience and judge the sense of speed and excitement relative to the stats. For instance; if a coaster with moderate height, speed, length, and g force stats that felt way faster or more exciting and being surprised by it, or the other way around, etc.

The guest-view feature isn’t actually a new thing, if you name a guest “PLIPCAM” in the first PlanCo game, you go into guest view!

There is a BIG problem with blueprints. Sequenced scenery automatically loops when you place down a blueprint even if you have them set to activate on trigger only. Unfortunately the only way to ensure rides work properly is to save them as a park file.

Tbf I'd love to see more rides as park files. Blueprints are great for people wanting to make their own park, but not so good for people wanting to ride other people's rides because people often do terrain work for rides and that does not seem to be saved with blueprints, so a lot of the time you end up with the ground being just... flat grass....

so nostalgic to see such simple creations as everyone learns the game
@starryagent99362 ай бұрын
You can still view ride stats on the ride itself by pressing tab and going to the menu in the top right. That worked for me when I was building my coasters and testing them.

Awesome, I'll try that next time!

So cool to see people trying new things! It’ll be fun to see even more polish, but i like seeing these “beta” builds as people experiment

It’s gonna take some time to familiarise with the new possibilities that planco 2 coasters have… I’m sure that we’ll be seeing very creative uses of controlling the movement of pieces attached to rides, etc, in due course :-)

I think you broke down on that drop track on minotaurs fury seeing as the train came straight in the station on the overview. Edit: I swear frontier should make a planet city type game like the sims, because with all the buildings and scenery already in it, they just need to make a few new features and they’re there.

I swear I had break downs turned off... : /
@HerHollyness2 ай бұрын
I’m not sure it was a breakdown, but perhaps the ride was waiting for a new operator - that takes aaaaaages and the rides just stop while they’re waiting for one.

Just think how cool that would have been if the coaster track had dropped right after the second one pounded the ground. The unfortunate thing is that even if he fixes it we will never get to see it again on this channel.

I disagree with your take on the veloci - coaster needing more Jurassic park theming, you gotta go ride it for yourself.. good job to the builder pretty spot on.
@waltbackaert85782 ай бұрын
And I disagree with yours. Velocicoaster seriously lacks theming. Once you exit the queue it's just a basic ass intamin blitz and that's or even great for the thrill aspect of it but for theming... Euh yeah not so much.
@Contamiply2 ай бұрын
But they missed how the coaster is enclosed with the raptors along with the entire queue buildings, station building, the little show before the launch, and a lot more. In terms of the layout he didn’t do too bad but it was rough at some points and also too fast.
@Randalllongshoes2 ай бұрын
@@Contamiply mate the game has been out for few days cant be implemented yet.. good on the builder again.
@Contamiply2 ай бұрын
@@Randalllongshoes other people already were able to build a lot more even the 2 builds prior to that had some detail. He could have at least tried to add the enclosure and station building for being a new player.

I enjoyed the creation, but I also point out how it could be improved. Having the Jurassic Park buildings, fencing, a working and even existing que, simply elevates the experience to a wow factor. Hoping to see that going forward, so I figured I would mention it! :) -Cheers

I am genuinely struggling to see the added value of PC2 vs PC. Haven't played the game yet myself, but by looking at videos, it just feels like it's not worth the money. Any thoughts from the community? Is this worth the buy?
@Stuntman7072 ай бұрын
It depends what you like building. The customization options are much better in PC2 but there are a few bugs in the game at the moment. Scaling and text are great in PC2 however there isn’t as many items as PC yet. Also lacking TMTK items if you like building more realistic parks. Pros: Better Engine / Graphics Weather New game mechanics New Ride Types Waterparks More creative freedom Ride attachable scenery Better path tools Cons: Bugs Not as many items No TMTK Less Themes Similar aesthetic (If that’s a con in your opinion)
@Channel5Gaming2 ай бұрын
Ive spent 3000 hours over 8 years in Planet Coaster 1. The biggest noticeable upgrade is the performance, graphics, & lighting. Which for me, is worth the price of admission alone. However I see a ton of new mechanics that really enable more creativity than ever before, such as all the new attachment points on gizmos and rides. It's just going to take some time before people to some incredible stuff with them. Also if you like theme park games for Career mode, this appears to have a really solid one! Its def worth buying imo.

At least put some efforts into coasters and scenery. It shouldnt be too hard to get a feeling for what u building guys. Not everyone is an expert, i know, but do you never watch any other creations? Do you never were on real life coasters? Do you never saw proper scenery? Rather then rushing out things, take your time and make it more appealing and realistic
