While you cant really argue this is amazing work - and its an AMAZINGLY detailed temple - but thats just it. I dunno how I feel about it as a theme park that is to be filled with guests. There is no real sense of place. The narrowed and cluttered paths really left me feeling claustrophobic and lost, and I felt like I was waiting for it to open up into a nice spacious plaza the whole spotlight. Something like the entrance plaza, which was my favorite area. That... plus the coasters arent doing it for me. Lots of smoothing, banking, and pacing issues. Again though. Absolutely unreal detail and build. I feel like if the coasters were on the level of your building detail... the mad man couldnt be touched.

Sorry, but that chairswing at the front of the park is un-skinned. What a disgrace! Completely ruined the park for me! Smh JK, this mini-park is amazing! 😂 There's so much crammed into there, it's insane! And all those details! This looks even better in video form than it did in the screenshots. I did stop doing reviews, but I might as well make this comment one while I'm here lol. The 3 coasters are really fun, smooth, and unique. Every scene is crammed with scenery and there is always something interesting to look at! Also, that lighting is just stunning. As feedback, I would say the horror heights was a little underwhelming, I felt like nothing really happened after it entered the main elevator section. Although that could just be the lag of the park, I don't know. Also, don't forget that chairswing that hasn't been skinned! 😝 It's like looking at a huge painting and seeing one tiny spot in the corner where you can still see the canvas underneath lol Just to mention, this doesn't have any TMTK or custom images/videos, having checked the workshop. This means he made everything himself with the in-game pieces, and didn't rely on images or TMTK for small details. So, bonus points from me! :) But anyways, amazing job! It certainly stands out amongst the other entries in our bracket! 😂

Just when you thought this bracket could not get any better along comes TheMadMan. Wow-what an epic creation. I would have lost my mind putting all those pieces together. Your cascade coaster was beautiful. Your whole park just shows your creativity and how your on another level. I would think this is a heavy contender and a prime example of future promotion.

Thank you Jonny, Xaphor and everyone for the comments and the reactions, TommyT originally came up with TheMadMan, credit to him for the sick name. Some things might have gotten misplaced when I did border checking and moving stuff, I will try to do better layouts for the next one and work on the fixes here, but the coasters were completed before most of the scenery went in. The fps drop was probably due to lighting and effects, and also I think those ancient pieces are hard on it too.
@eisenbergjj4 жыл бұрын
The mad man clearly knows how to build, but ride, pathway and track layout both need a bit of work. Like practice with coasters on where you want a train to be at a certain point and how much speed and length do you get after a drop, cause both those things help determine what on a ride is worth looking at and what is saved part count.

I enjoyed this park a lot, I must admit I’m not to happy with all the clipping and that’s not a huge negative as the positive is build your coasters first dude, as then you can work around them, it just felt you built all this magnificent slightly repetitive at times scenery then placed the coasters through it, I might be wrong but it felt that way. I love the concept and how you brought it to reality I really do, very nicely done sir 👍🏻 ps loved the water coaster just a bit more banking and trim brakes in certain sections 👏

This Expert bracket is absolutely insane! I have no freaking idea how it's even possible that anyone made this is just two months! This park is mostly amazing, but there are still some things that TheMadMan needs to work on like the rollercoaster layouts and clipping. There were also some walls and objects that blocked some pathways. Personally, I think that the RMC T-Rex should have gotten the Swinging Mine Train's layout, and vice versa. However, these are just minor things that need to be improved over an already outstanding park!
@thelewis27044 жыл бұрын
The scenery is very well done. You definitely showed that you have an eye for detail. That being said, there are some things that could use improvement. The layout was very confusing. It was next to impossible to wayfind in the park. There is a reason why companies like Disney and Universal take the time to Master Plan their parks. They put themselves in guests shoes and think about ease of navigation, crowd flow, etc. Also, while the rides looked spectacular it was difficult to discern what the stories were because any story that was there was so complicated that it didn’t read easily. If you could take your amazing building skills and focus on those two things your creations would sing. Give us some more substance to go with your incredible building skills.
@Rohanadarilin4 жыл бұрын
uh... why should people do a realistic park with realistic pathing in a game? this was mind blowing BECAUSE it was unreal ^^
@thelewis27044 жыл бұрын
@@Rohanadarilin Because even in a virtual park if you want people to be able to explore the park without getting lost and having to zoom out to figure out where in the world they are and breaking the immersiveness (or staying lost and possibly missing something) it pays to do some master planning and think about where you want stuff. You’re right, the park is amazing, but it could be even more so if they would have made it easy to navigate, kept the story of the park and rides simpler, and told those stories in a way that was easier to understand. There’s far more to a theme park virtual or real than just making something that looks cool. I’m not trying to say the submission is bad, just provide some constructive criticism because I can see that this builder is really good and if they take some of these things into account they could be even better. Also put yourself in their shoes. They clearly have spent countless hours developing their skills and are seeking to improve with every build they make. I think they would find comments telling them ways they can improve as well as what they got right better than someone simply saying “great job”.

They're a legendary builder, beginner lvl attraction creator.

For me, totally honestly... from a distance it's stunning, especially at that time of day, and the exterior terrain work is great, it's really believable as a city nestled into that landscape. Up close it seems ironic that the chair swing wasn't skinned when the rest of the park is so OTT. I think pulling back 10% on the decoration would actually be better and despite the pop-up camera view on the coasters, I'm pretty sure they were still clipping scenery in several places anyway. That's not to say it's not a phenomenal achievement especially in the time limit but in a lot of places I was wishing for a little more space and less clutter, it felt like stepping into a hoarder house transformed into a theme park. I didn't get any feeling of a story on the coasters, which is fine, it's not a story/action coaster contest, but they were so fast that it just felt like different coloured rooms flashing by with no real logic or progression, just a load of rooms then the end. Incredible build though and I do like the overgrown paths in places, box hedges growing through fences etc, just would have liked a little bit less of everything.

Maybe I just "don't get it," but when rides are clipping, or the turns don't bank, or people would be impaled at 30mph, it really looks the vibe for me. The design and intricacy of the park are absolutely top-shelf. A really beautiful creation. Unfortunately, the rides were a step down from the atmosphere of the park, for me.
@smilingoma33344 жыл бұрын
You forgot that on one coaster they rode above the coaster, the other one they went track view - so those factor into the clipping, etc., the 3rd one - there were some minor issues - but to say these things brought down overall - that’s just being really nit picky. Every single creator in this contest had 2 months to create all these masterpieces in addition of real life stuff - and for viewers who have no sense of what goes into these contests - it’s like nitpicking The Sistine Chapel or Botticelli’s Birth of Venus!
@RommerskirchenFrank4 жыл бұрын
If you read the comments here and on discord you may find out, that some of the issues where effects, which happend to late because of the frame rate ( if I got that right, I am a non- player) for example it seems like we rush through a wall, which is in fact a gat, which did not open...

The amount of detail in this creation is unparalleled, however in some spots it feels a little overdone. Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous and definitely a top one in the contest but the coasters all needed more banking and the clipping could've been cleaned up. It felt like some parts just kind of had random things in there for the sake of having random things. That was part of the “challenge “ to create rides- more specifically- 1 main ride and 2yo 5 flat rides. The main ride didn’t have to be a coaster. TMM’s “main” ride was the cascade - which was well done! The other 2 coasters were extra - not mandatory. So for 2 extra ride experiences- they were fun rides and gave a different perspective with each one. Last, regardless of coastermaking skills - TMM & many other creators in this bracket are worthy of Master/Legend promotions after this contest. There’s more than coaster making that makes you a Legend & these creators & TMM have it!
