Wow lol this is my park... I completely forgot I sent it to you guys in 2017 and I look at my youtube recommendations and I see 'Hydra Lake' and I'm like Huh... that sounds familiar! Thanks so much for your kind, in-depth look at the park. I have to say I cringed a bit looking back on how rough some of it was... it was pretty much my first park so a lot of it was figuring stuff out, especially with track smoothing and decoration etc. So thanks for being positive! Unfortunately I forgot to mention that Robotix is best viewed when testing... so you don't have to wait on the blocks (Ride design flaw I know :p). I also think all the updates between now and then stuffed up some of the triggers. The coaster povs are also a lot smoother when viewed at track level. Riverton Manor was my first attempt at a dark ride so it's pretty basic and all over the place lol. But glad you picked up on the creepy undertones of Rivertown... that's what I was going for! Again thanks for the spotlight... made my week!

I appriciate that you review some older parks and projects, which were on the list! For me, personally, especially those who are not defined to 110% are the ones i love. It gives my fantasy room for dreams, if that makes any sense ;) This park is a great example. It looks good but is not perfect. Thank you for your time and the review! Great stuff!

Hey Wow! This is such a GREAT park! Here's my remarks per ride for Mark: -General Remarks: You'll want to shorten the number of cars on your track rides. You do not want the cars sitting and waiting to return to the station, as it lowers the excitement level, and causes peeps to not want to ride those. Odyssey Island is STUNNING and such a great theme to enhance this whole "hydra" study stuff. -Werewolf: FUN!, needs smoothing, and maybe some final touches on supports or rockwork -River Rapids: Personally could have done without. However, had you blended it with the Sunday Drive ride so they interacted with each other, then I would have been okay with it. They both felt too similar as a ride because of the choice in scenery. Interactivity would make it more interesting. -Aethon: OBVIOUSLY inspired by Alton Towers' Oblivion: SO SHORT! LOL, however, I LOVE that very subtle addition of the mist/steam at the top of the lift hill! -Good choice in your "space mountain" choice of coaster. The ride itself, I appreciate as a dark/hybrid coaster; however, you'll want to watch your pacing and stops. The only reason a "stop" should be acceptable outside of the station in this style of ride is if there's an actual triggered show telling a story that we need to focus on. Accomplishing that effectively is a little more advanced, even some master/legends aren't really there yet. Otherwise this was a fun fun fun ride! -NOT a fan of the minetrain ride. But that's a personal Nope, as I don't like OLD style builds of this kind of ride (i.e. Montana Russa's or The Ultimate in the UK) -Riverton manor is so much fun, again, here there's that problem with the number of cars on the track causing us to wait, though. -Spinning gardens; your "kiddieland" section of the park, is a bit "decapitating". I assume Mark HAAAAAATES children. LOL. I'm very surprised to see that the log flume here is a bit plain in the tunnel when you did so well in Rivertown! However, i do like the common theme, and trying to maintain the vibe elsewhere. So overall, I really enjoyed this park, just like Xel did! I look forward to new creations from Mark, because between the style of building/themes, and your EPIC choices in names, I see a kindred mind.

I saw this through its construction on the planco forums on fronteir Absolutely beautiful and well made its amazing! Great job MARK! I aslo love the inspiration he took. I beleive werewolf and the name of the park were inspired by Hydra the revenge at dorney park. And i really see it

@@greatwesternsky oh ya it was so much inspiration for me as at the time I really struggled to build something I liked. And seeing this on the frontier forums gave me inspiration and ideas for my own parks and thank you for that

I like this park because it has vivid colors both day and night. The log rides were fun. The theme areas were well done. The sky view at night of the park like I said before was beautifully vivid. Well done.

I love how you can see the building style change when u walk trough the park. People get better while building parks and I think that’s why most people can’t finish a whole park. If u don’t like a piece of your park bc the building style is outdated, I recommend deleting the building or ride and replace it. That’s what real parks do right.

The layout and terrain are very well done. Very nice park overall. Just enough theming and detail to feel complete. Could do with a bit more detail to really make it a knockout park. But yeah, terrain work is really superb. 👍

How can I get a spotlight on my park? I saw lots of spotlights on youtube, but I still don't know how I can submit my new park when it will be done. Also, do you know what the submission guidelines are? For example, can I use items from workshop sometimes (when I do that, I change it a lot, I make some improvements and incorporate it in the theme around) or does everything have to be done from scratch, from all roller coasters to all buildings?
@elexion894 жыл бұрын
Heyo! The easiest way to find out is to join us on discord! Most parks have original coasters/buildings in there, created by you. But ofc you can download stuff from the workshop to put in there. Some people download statues or small buildings and put those in their park. But most of what you see in the spotlights is created from scratch by the creator of the park!

you don't really say anything about the coasters other than pointing out the flaws. I think there was a lot of good things about golden arrow... awesome layout. great section that turns you back towards the station.....idk I thought it was pretty good...

Hopefully through the few years after this park was made, the creator got better at making coasters, almost all of these are rough and all have bad transitions
