I remember when BMW first started producing the 7 Series "L" machines with extended wheelbase just like that. Solid and stable up to very high speeds, but still always felt like "your father's bimmer" to me LOL. That Merc looks spectacularly well-kept though. Great get! I'm ready for the fixin' series.
