Fun fact: Disney's 1st original character was a Rabbit named "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit", created in 1927. However, 1 year later, Universal Studios claimed the rights to the cartoon. After losing the character, Disney created Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney was also a big fan of circuses and collected real circus wagons most of his wagon collection was donated to the circus world museum in Baraboo Wisconsin except for his dragon steam calliope. That wagon is located at Tri-Circle-D Ranch at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground at Walt Disney World.

Not really, he was an active protestor of woman’s rights, treated his employees horribly, piggybacked on other’s skill and constantly claimed credit for most of the cartoons despite barely working on them. Of course, Walt doesn’t want anyone to know, so he’s used Disney to filter out all his bad press and paint the image he was a pioneer of cartoons and the Shakespeare of his time.
