What about Avatar Kyoshi? And her battle with Chin the Conqueror? I thought this was a crucial piece of history that explains the expansion of Earth Kingdom territory and why it’s so large throughout the series.

Not that importent for Aang's timeline because it only appeared twice: one time in it's dedicated episode, the other for about a minute to extract infomation from a fire nation solider. In TLAB we can almost ignore it as it doesn't affect anything importent in the plot. Blood bending is importent for Korra's timeline as it's the whole plot twist of season 1. I believe they will cover this part when this video comes.

This show was made a year before I was born, so I have faint memories of watching it with my siblings. And now that it is on Netflix, it's just amazing. I love the show, I love the timing, the characters,the background, the drama. I love every part of The Avatar series. After I'm done watching it, I want to watch "The legend of Korra". I want to see if it is as good as everyone says it is.

I love this movie. I have watched it over 5 times and I will continue to watch it. Last time I watched it I enjoyed it more than I did the previous time. This movie was perfectly written - the themes, connections of ideas and events. It is just so perfect and whole. For example, the Firebender Avatar had a challenge with water and they made a small mention of it, negligible. And later Aang, an Airbender had trouble learning Earth bending. There's a million things I noticed and it just blew my mind. This is one of the best cartoons that will forever exist. The writers paid attention to every little detail and they created a masterpiece. I've never watched a cartoon this amazing. The fact that Aang was a gentle spirit, Katara and others more violent, How the elements actually added to how one thinks and direct their energy and way of fighting and decision making. I love everything: Lake Laogai, Gurus, the man selling cabbage, Azula, Fire Lord Ozai, General Iroh, the way they brought out the idea of bending, it wasn't just moving the elements but more - all events and ideas. This is a masterpiece and it is perfect!!!!!!!

I didn't really get that impression in fact I believe Sozin was respectful of Roku e.g. he bowed to him when he was announced as the Avatar. I believe Sozin was just dead set on invading and conquering all the nations and Roku was the only thing standing in his way.

This video covers the show really well considering it’s done in just under 30 minutes. A lot of comments pointing out things that were missed, and there were definitely a couple things missing here, but i think this video does a great job of telling the over all story from the show (and some stuff we learned in LOK). There’s no way anyone could fit EVERYTHING in a 30 minute video. I would love to see another video from this channel going over the timeline of the comics 🤩🤩
