The extension of the theory I understood that the international places he visited were just places that he saw while Muriel and Eustace were watching television. The other, smaller places were all areas that even older folks would go to a on a general basis, like a grocery store or a craft shop.

I remember an episode of Courage the cowardly dog where Courage, Muriel and Eustace traveled to a banana dimension. And the main thing I remember from that episode was that Courage had to go use the bathroom and the toilets where gendered, but because the signs both looked exactly the same he didn’t know which one to go into so at first he went into the women’s bathroom on accident.

Courage's dialogue decreased after the first season. This is because the creators at Cartoon Network thought Courage "talked too much" and wanted his dialogue cut short. The names Muriel and Eustace are taken from the middle names of Chandler Bing and Ross Geller of Friends (1994). Lionel Wilson (Eustace) quit halfway through the series and was replaced by Arthur Anderson. Whenever Courage takes action to rescue his owner(s) from peril, a variation of the Mission: Impossible (1966) theme is heard playing. This theme varies with each episode, depending on what musical arrangement is being used in that episode. Tim Chi Ly, who voices the recurring character Di Lung, was one of the show's animators. This was voice director Peter Fernandez's favourite show that he worked on. * One of the few oddities John Dilworth willingly explained was the hole in Courage's tooth: it's a symbol that nature is imperfect, and how one can still affirm in life when they know that evil exists. * Also according to Dilworth, Muriel was interested in another man during her youth, but Eustace, through some unknown dark deed, somehow managed to win her over.

I love the songs on the Human Habitrail (Doc Gerbil's World) episode on the boat chase scene and The Tower of Dr. Zalost episode. The songs strangely soothes me when I was little and they still do.
