Note: The sapphire and pearl choker seen in this photo of Diana in the US when she danced with John Travolta hasn’t been seen since 1996. She also wore it on the evening that Prince Charles announced his love for Camilla Parker Bowles. It obviously represents courage as it came up in reference to Prince Harry. The necklace was originally a brooch...a gift from the Queen Mother which Diana turned into the pearl choker necklace. She was a pioneer of the pearl strand choker trend, a big trend in the 80s and 90s. Ironically Camilla Parker Bowles is often seen wearing this style.

Lady Diana learnt all she did of love from many Mills and Boone books, and went into her marriage naively as a young girl' expecting to find the same with Charles. I live in the UK and as did many of us women around Diana's age, we felt we grew up and had our own children alongside Diana, as everything she did was so photographed and written about for us all to see..we lived vicariously through this beautiful, shy, defiant, humourous compassionate female role model, that many of us young women needed back in that time..and I am so grateful she taught me how to love when no one else was showing it..it is no surprise to any here the overwhelming grief our country (particularly the women) went through when we lost our "Queen of Hearts" 💞

This week's James Corden went with Harry around Los Angeles in a double decker bus. You really saw Harry's caring nature when James set up a competitive athletic event and Harry ran alongside of James cheering him on instead of leaving him in the dust. Although I was impressed with James' abilities. Not quite up to Harry's. Very funny and fun.

Your comments at around 9:00 reminded me of the part of the clip with Corden where they are doing the obstacle course, it’s obvious he is in amazing shape and could easily leave James Corden in the dust-but he doesn’t. He slowed down and gave him encouragement instead of making fun of him. I think that tells a lot about Prince Harry’s character.

We can feel her love, nice to have her with us. Remember like it was yesterday when she passe. I was a Canadien working at cirque du soleil in Vienna that morning. Very strange thing happening to me many years after when I was in London walking by Buckingham palace, in one front window upper floor, they was a sewing mannequin. Ho my god just felt it was a personal welcome to London. Just you know I do costumes for show and I use those mannequin for work.

Thank you Maryann. I have felt intuitively that Harry has wanted to get away from the Royal duties not away from his family of royals, but the duties and the fishbowl lifestyle. I think part of the attraction of Meghan was that she didn’t need the Royal life or title to be a fulfilled whole person. She is a self made woman and also is a philanthropist at heart (like Harry is) not for show. The decision was his to make and he made it. What Diana said about Harry being about the one the be side by side and not in front is spotlighted in the choice of their song at the wedding, “Stand by Me.”

1st, you are so lovely and this video was so special. I found myself choking up thru it as I had those pictures in my mind of before they got married and when the paps would hound her. It was hard not to fall in love with that gentle soul. I think she really got into our hearts as though we knew her personally and how very painful her death was. At least for me that was true. You can see Harry is so much like her. I hated reading comments from people who relished in the thought that he and Meghan would not be married long and he’d come to his senses. And the move to LA so many blamed on her as though he was a puppet. I believed they were happy by the way they looked at each other so glad to hear her confirm that. He’d wanted his own family for so long. I'm still very emotional as though she appeared to me personally or maybe it touched something in my heart and soul as though hitting a nerve. Diana was a beautiful soul. She wasn't perfect, she didn't pretend to be perfect, she was a mother, a person with a good heart and kindness. She made mistakes and she tried to do better. She was uncomfortable in the spotlight and her role, but she toughed it out and did good work. Despite what she was "supposed" to do she chose to teach her son's a better way to use their position and status for good. I hioe that she found happiness in the years after her divorce. She would've been such a good mother-in-law and grandmother.

IF you notice Meghan makes a point often to say she has nothing negative to say about the Queen herself...makes me think she's not behind as much as everyone thinks. I don't think Harry's current life is what he'd ever have wanted - doesn't mean cannot work out. He expected a woman who wanted to have a life of service as his wife in the RF - didn't work out - the Queen offered for them to not be working royals - probably would have been better route Harry would have LOVED to have a life in Africa, he loves Africa - doing charitable works, protecting the environment......maybe that will be in his future, right now it seems Markle is getting what she always wanted - hopefully they have a two-way street relationship....it's very early days - married, what, three years? Surprisingly that was really difficult. I was never one to pay much mind to famous people, including the Royal family and Diana. When she died I was very sad. It seemed to me that she was finally coming into own comfort zone. And her kindness was all of a sudden, shuddered. I have missed her more as time goes on and feel so emotional about it now. It's devastating. I was so looking forward to this and am completely blindsided by how it has left me in tears. I feel like Diana represents the antithesis of the "former guy." The abuse of the last four years and, now, his not going away, is bubbling up here. The effect of his divisiveness has created a culture of distrust, combativeness and abusiveness. This reading shows me the terror in my own heart because the remembrance of someone who truly was a Queen of Hearts is making me realize just how much trauma I am holding onto. I am a naturally very compassionate and empathetic person. Not morning the loss of Diana doesn't feel possible right now; not after all the hatred, evil and selfish abuse that has become the norm. I do take her words to heart and hope that the light she brought, and brings, is the prevailing energy moving into our future. Of late, I have found myself turning more to spiritual and self development as you said in the previous reading. Thanks for this. It was disarmingly cathartic. I will have to dwell on why and what I am supposed to do about it. I have been tremendously angry about what has happened in the US. The image of Kimberly Guifoyle dancing while the Capital was stormed has been in my head all day today. The disrespect of it, the manipulation and abuse, the acting like it was something to celebrate was and is so very deeply offensive to me. This is my country and if they will only use it for their own profit and view its people as pawns in their little game, then I am left with rage.. And because everyone has become so combative, I dare not speak of it. Rage is not something I will actively pursue. Have to dwell in the love, to move it aside. Funny how things find their way out when you least expect it! "So shines a good deed in a weary world." Such was Lady Diana.

I am a huge fan of Princess Diana. When she passed away, I cried. I have always admired her and she was always such a beautiful and caring person. I believe that Charles loved her, but he wasn’t in love with her. The princess knew that as well. Interesting MaryAnne.. we just had a conversation about Prince Harry yesterday. In watching his interview with James, I got nothing but how Harry has a beautiful spirit. Intelligent young man and he will do whatever necessary to protect his family. As for the Princess, was she looking for love in all the wrong places? Maybe the past loves were simply life’s lessons. Diana is a Water sign, as I am too. From the first time Inlaid eyes on that so very young 18 year old, I thought, what a beautiful, vulnerable, naive young English lass. I thought of her as always the most caring of any of the Queen's family. Harry for sure has that same caring empathic spirit. I believe William does as well but his wife, father and grandparents keep him from doing what he really wants. I think William is jealous of Harry letting go of his "duties". they are incredibly privileged (& she grew up upper/middle class) - I like Harry - but cannot forget his nazi uniform & that party with the kkk & white boys in black face ugh!!!! Meghan was gung-ho to join the RF but she clearly didn't understand what it really is: public service & a lot of restrictions but a ton of privilege & lots of 'down time' lol & vacays too....not sure what she expected - & she was a grown woman 36-37 not a mere teen like Di....Markle also didn't go through even a 10th that Middleton did, the press against her was disgusting - but she 'proved herself' - maybe it's all some British thing Americans don't & will never get lol, who knows...
