i love this message, thank you. needed to hear this today. for my own personal experience i have to challenge it in a way though (the message, not you, you're amazing..) because as much as my light is a perfect balance for his darkness, his darkness has been dimming my light..I can't keep shining for the both of us if he's not able to turn on his own light from time to time. my light is feeling a little burnt out right now and it would be nice if he could see me fading and light the lantern and show me there's still a way forward. we broke up a week ago even though we both feel the love. we both need healing at this time. maybe one day his light will feel bright again, but for now i need to protect the little flame i've got left so that I don't fall on my face in the darkness trying to make sure he can see.🕯❤‍🩹
