So incredibly beautiful. Tears flowing down my face ... joy and more joy. I watch so many of these nests today in 2023 and so thankful to all of you for your vision, determination, your hard work and never giving up. I know my favorite nest in Big Bear MUST have come from your incredible work here in the Channel Islands. BEAUTIFUL FILM. Absolute JOY!

Thank you, thank you, thank you - for the initiative, determination, and resilience to keep fighting for the bald eagles and their existence. One person makes a difference - never doubt it - and several people can effect solutions for lasting impact. If only people could learn and avoid future near-extinctions based on human-caused problems...

Amazing thank you to someone having a vision and to watch it co.e to fruition. Bald eagles were almost extinct. Thank you Dr. Sharpe and the other scientists! Love watching all the nests! God bless you all! Fascinating and just amazing. Wow!! Thanks for this video persistence and hard work. You all are my heroes. May the Bald eagles continue to flourish and soar above the islands!❤😭❤🙏

1:08 might have been Dr. Sharpe being lifted from California to Channel Island eagle nest to either collect eggs to incubate in the zoo. Kudos for his decades of dedicated work in restoring the bald eagle population. What a fantastic naturalist he is!

Dave thank you for your vision and hard work and Dr. Sharpe for subjecting yourself to the "dope on the rope" situation LOL! It's incredible what you and your teams did to restore the bald eagle population. I love this video and have watched it several times.

I used to work on an excursion boat, back in the early 70’s, that went to these islands daily.

Wow! First off, a huge congratulations to all the scientists and advocates that worked to bring back the bald eagle back to the Channel Islands! What a success. We often forget it takes legal action, & years of patience to see a horrific chemical and company be held to account for their destruction. (Science Wins!) Data is now available to ensure this should never happen again, to destroy wildlife and our lands. Everyone has a voice to advocate for these birds. Amazing feat, thank you!
