2023 SEA Games opening ceremony in Cambodia

The 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games were officially declared open in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Friday (May 5), at the 60,000-seat Morodok Techo stadium.

The great thing about this Opening Ceremony is that it compliments all, the performers, the lights, and special effects within this new stadium, its not over nor it lacks, it has the same amount of visual representation of what Cambodia is, their history, culture and people as sometimes as a viewer you would see it so much focus on the lights, the effects but the performer, the culture etc is not or vice versa. You can say that you can always watch this and not be bored at all. We congratulate all of our Cambodian friends, this is really a great start, a great way to introduce what Cambodia has to offer now. We say, "Cambodia : The Promise of Tomorrow" 😊

You know what during the Pol Pot Genocide. They took the opportunity to steal our culture without us knowing and lie to the world on everything such as Traditional clothes, Boxing, cultures etc. Until our country is recovering from this Khmer Rough Regime and the internet is widely available so that they can’t do it anymore. 😅😅 Thailand originally immigrated from South China and they had no culture at all. Every cultures they have now is stealing from Cambodia( Khmer), Myanmar and Laos. if you want to know the origin of our boxing or traditional clothes you can go to see in Siemreap, Our ancestors have carved it everywhere and most of them were already recognized by UNESCO. KHMER HAVE CONFIDENCE AND EVIDENCE in our cultures but Thais do not have any official proof about their cultures yet😅

It's truly extraordinary and flawlessly executed. This is the first time Cambodia has hosted a national event of this magnitude since 1959, and the organisers have truly outdone themselves. That opening ceremony was absolutely incredible. The level of planning and attention to detail that went into it was truly remarkable. The way the colours lit up the night sky was truly mesmerizing. I loved seeing the traditional costumes and the performance. It was clear that so much teamwork went into making the opening ceremony a success. Each theme is amazing and impressive, and even viewers/audiences who are not Cambodians can understand what story the scenes are trying to tell. The wonder of angkorwat is the most breathtaking splendid scene. Whoever organize and design this opening ceremony for Cambodia SEA Games 32, they have done a great job to make Cambodia and ASEAN have a very proud, happy and enjoyable night.
