I hope Heng Sweet Keat reminds himself constantly of the Chinese saying: 斗米养恩, 石米养仇。"Give about the right amount and you get gratitude; give too much, and you will get hatred." It's human nature. Flout this wisdom and DPM Heng risks the future of the country.

Our resolve towards this criss is so loud that the WORLD can hear. It is a reassurance to the locals and investors alike. We are not looking at defending the criss but to be up and running when it clears. To be ready to surf the waves when it comes. We have no crude or water to sell to ride out the criss. We must never forget the savings the past generations had saved.

"The ayes have it" is not suitable for singapore. So unsingaporean. Why copy UK ? That's a British thing. We should say "Kee Chew!"

It's OK lah HSK, we BELIEVE the Reserves are what you claim. We base on believing. Will vote for you. So many highly paid PAP MPs represent the people and will ask for us to know exactly how much is left in the reserves right ? They are so honest people. Look at the way they talk. Their faces. So honest.

Past SARS Crisis if lesson learnt is to always have sufficient masks. So tell me, has sg gold standard learnt the lesson?

@@jerome1340 shortage of masks is a perception. Taiwan has no shortage . If someone cannot find mask in one shop, it does not mean there is no mask left in the country. Its just that he does not know where to buy. Taiwan has 4 times SG population and can have sufficient masks. They even make their own masks. SG can make also but find excuse that it must be imported. Ignorance is no excuse. And TW has less infections than SG the gold standard

@@LonganLee Then go buy your own masks. I have no difficulty buying masks for myself. Singapore produce our own masks too. You don't know?
@LonganLee

@@justme3837 yes there is sufficient masks especially washable masks. Of course now we have been issued washable masks. So what's the problem ? Of course with the shutdown many shops closed. Online is still selling. What's your issue? Please clarify. We try to leave surgical masks to hospitals although there is no shortage of masks yet in hospitals as far as I know. What I was saying is sg should not have masks shortage issue because of lessons from SARS unless someone in charge of supplies did not do his job. That said, I am not saying cannot find masks. I know sg has people making masks. Internet has many tutorials how to make simple masks. Any mask better than no masks even if not as effective as surgical masks.
