Petr Cech joined Chelsea in 2004 and after 11 years of service, he was relegated (not because he wasn't world class) to second choice goalkeeper at Chelsea. Now, did Cech bitch about it? No! Not saying that Vincent hasn't done well in the team, just saying that if the coach doesn't have to explain himself to any player when they're not called up, then the coach doesn't have to explain himself to Vincent when he picks a new team captain. If Vincent feels offended that he wasn't called aside and informed of the change of captaincy before it was made public, then maybe Vincent should have taken a page out of his own book and call the coach aside, instead of publicly questioning him. Oliseh has a job to do and if he fails we'll all criticize him. It doesn't matter who the keeper is nor who the captain is. Vincent was a wonderful player for the team, but that doesn't mean shit when it's time for a manager to pick a team that he can work with. If he was left in the team and for whatever reason Oliseh doesn't meet the NFF's objectives, who is going to get the sack? So as much as I really like Vincent, as a goalkeeper (as I don't know him personally), I have to say that he was out of line and he had it coming.

+Dave Ikenna the point is, it doesn't matter who's a better keeper... It's not Vincent's job to decide who plays or not. Nor is it his job to decide who the captain is! If he were upset because of a selfless reason like because he had a concern the wellbeing of the team, I would empathise but I'd still maintain that he was out of line... However, he's only upset because his over-stroked ego cannot stand the idea that someone else is captain or someone else gets chosen to play and he wants us to tell him that he's right for trying to tell the coach how to be a coach... Na lie oh! Do his outfield teammates tell him how to be a goalkeeper? It's either he's good enough or not! Same with the coach! The coach will defend his decisions whatever the consequence, we won't call for the players to be sacked if the team does badly! So the man should stop whining like anybody owes him something, much less an explanation.

Vincent is a big ego, because you play professional in French league that's not even one of the best 5 in Europe and you want to show your ego to the coach that you know better, never forget Sunday Olisen was a well known professional all over the world, so keep your ego and let our team move forward. If I can hear you perfectly well, you said your team will sack you because you're 3rd goalkeeper in the national team which really shows your disgusted ego and proven you show no respect to your team mates and the new captain because you feel they are nothing.
