As long as man tries to bring about resolutions for conflicts without giving full control of the situation to the true God of heaven, then it will remain unresolved. God sees the full picture that man cannot see and knows how to turn the tide in his favour when He is allowed to fight on his behalf. No gods can give the victory. Only God can. Abraham had flaws like finite men do, but his actions was heavily dependent upon God by faith in Him through prayer and fasting. The favour of God was upon him because of his steadfastness in prayer causing his enemies to not prevail over him. If leaders and those rising to power would recognise the true Power Source, what wondrous things would be wrought on their behalf!
