Nigeria did it with GSM simcards. They should replicate the same to electricity, forex and petrol. Having a mobile phone was very scarce and expensive before the advent and privatization of GSM when networks like intercellular, starcomms etc where selling phones lines for N250k , but after introduction of GSM the lines initially sold for N50k before it now dropped to N100 or FREE. Govt should remove from the budget electricity, forex subsidy, petrol subsidy, tertiary education subsidy etc and divert this money to improved security . Lets face security squarely by employing and training One million graduates to guard all the 774 local govts in Nigeria, while privatizing most of the other sectors.

Just talk and talk without any meaningful action. Nobody needs any "stingy man" to run anything in the country. If those running Lagos State are that stingy with the resources of the state and not find ways to put infrastructure in place will prof and Obi be staying there?
