That position attracts no salary it is free service. Did you ever see indiscriminate human right abuses under Goodluck Jonathan. Get your facts right before posting any thing on a platform.

Listening to Prof has given me a renewed hope for better Nigeria, he speaks with such clearness, eloquence, and intellect. His unbiased explanation of the law demonstrably shows pure integrity unlike the corrupt elites that claims integrity without receipt to show for it. This strategy of Afe Bobalola and his handlers to intimidate, silence or subjugate people who dered speak truth to power is going to crumble and fail.

Not law and justice, but persecution. One can never be sure what motives may be behind certain decisions which are made by governmental institutions. However, Courts are duty bound to know the state of law and to apply them correctly. Therefore, when a man is charged for an alleged offense where no law exists to establish said offense then either the decision maker does not know the state of the law, or he is knowingly doing something else. Arbitrary A man is being punished even before any Court has tried him and pronounced on guilt. Dele Farotimi was arbitrarily charged under a state law that does not exist. Then he was charged under Federal Law that may not have jurisdiction in this case. He was denied bail and kept imprisoned for alleged offenses that may not even permit arrest and detention. Every claim of defamation must first be tested and proved to be false. Why was this not done? How could his private property be seized without first establishing crime under specific law and guilt? Since we already know (as of 20th December 2024) that no court has tried him, then it is fair to ask on whose orders is he being punished? How could this happen? Power has an inherent arrogant property. All that has happened so far to Dele Farotimi only proves some of the most important points which Dele Farotimi has made in his book about the decayed and unjust systems in Nigeria.

I have said it before, and am saying it again that until those before independence are all gone before Nigeria will attain it glory. It is we that came after independence, who grow up experiencing the left behind of the colonials system in the "60s plus the todays, our children's generation, who does not know Joseph, and yearning for good governance and better society that is going to bring about that expectation of Nigeria in Nigeria. Don't expect any meaningful change from those older than Nigeria, the EMI LOKAN"S they can't change the colonial systems they were born into and grow up in. Can't you see what am saying in Peter Obi of LP, Adewale Adebayo of SDP, Prof Odinkalu, Dele Famoroti, Omoyele Sowore of AAC? These are the generations who want better Nigeria for all.
