I would like to know, whats the restoration effect for the 2025 budget? It is still a recurrent expenditure driven budget. What's the capex aspect expected to drive the recovery? Now if exchange rate deepens and oil prices fall whats the buffer? When planning, a sensible person plans against a worst case scenario. Next year economy environment is very gloomy. If the CDS says they have dealth a heavy blow on insurgency the what we should be doing is ramping up on the gains by spending more on agric to recover not weapons. Thank you Seun, you're on point. Nigeria can seek support against insurgency which is also affecting the subregion. We'll need more food in the coming years than weapons. Move the agric spending further south by creating more farming zones. Mass expanses of arable land in the south lays fallow.

Next year wouldn't make Nigerians better, 😮arising from the terrible and bad policies of the FG; tax increases, economic realities as in hyperinflation in cost of goods and services, fuel price increases, joblessness, hopelessness etc Looting of the Treasury, more foreign borrowings, bribing and corruption will still continue unabated. Many more youths will jappa. The present political leaders are clueless, selfish and not interested in ensuring good governance by the rule of law rather they are for the law of the ruled, which will further destroy Nigeria.

Seun keep on talking about inflation rate in Nigeria as if it is only increasing in the country alone. High inflation rate is all over the world and not peculiar to Nigeria alone. The guest is try to draw your attention changes in the country's financial and economic situation in the last eighteen months and you seem not to see any difference in your opinion. It is not surprising because you are neither and economist or financial specialist. You can only learn from experts when you listen to them objectively with an open mind. Based on the questioning and disagreement with the guest it is obvious any guest in opposition to the budget will be fully supported by you. It will simply be a noise making exercise if you bring in an opposition party guest without the opposition counter budget presentation. Ideally, this should be the normal approach by the opposition when they disagree with the ruling party's budget. Nigerians do not get this from the major opposition parties. This should be encouraged as it promotes bi-partisan governing.
