He promised to transfer the right to generate and transmit electricity to the state and he has done it. 4. He promised to improve our ecoomy, our economy is growing at almost 15% now despite the global economy problem. 4. Go to Abuja and see what Wike is doing now. 5. One thing Udenta didn't understand is that, his feeling or opinion or view doesn't represent the directions or how democracy is being run. It's good to talk, but the political actors decide the direction, so far, there's no national template to run the country. Mind you, the Constitution is not a template but the law and rules guiding political actors. If there's national template where the nation lists all to be achieved with the short-term, medium term, and the long-term, that's when we can access or judge who we choose to lead the government, but as it is now, every head of government has their own direction subjected to their own intuitiveness and idiosyncrasies. Make we just continue with talking for talking sake.

Isreal is currently being run by a coalition government in order to present a united front against the current war. Netanyahu brought his opposition candidates and make them contribute to the decision making process. If the country is in a dire state, all hands must be on deck. Nigeria must come first. Tinubu will still be the president, all he’d be doing is giving Atiku and Obi the chance to make contributions, that way non of them will be able to blame or criticize Tinubu. They’d be more like SSA to Tinubu, they’ll only offer their opinions and Tinubu will still be the one with the power to effect any decisions.

Did you listen to him? People can blame Obasanjo's tenure how they like, but he did it and brought in the opposition. It was one of the reason why Bola Tinubu went to create the AC that later became ACN and now APC. Because he wanted something he can control. Most leaders of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) had supported the PDP government led by Obasanjo. But when they almost revolted in 2003, most of the AD governors in the Southwest lost their seat except for AC in Lagos State. So if Tinubu cares about Nigeria and not just his cronies, there's nothing stopping him from bringing in the opposition just to move the country forward. But we all know that Tinubu won't do that because he has to earn back what he spent during the election with interest

@@enusondemand wike is in tinubu's cabinet or is that not bipartisan enough? Or the recent one that just happened in adamawa. My point is simple: the prof isn't being realistically. Unless the opposition see some benefit it pays them more to constructively criticise the government from the outside.

That is a very brilliant outing, however, Prof Udenta fell shy of touching on the obvious mistakes of the current government: the fact that certain policies and decisions appear to be done from the perspective of “I know it all”. Any attempt to ask for the support of the opposition must be on the basis that the government must not copy and paste or fail to first run every issue through them before deciding. The Nigerian people also need to stop voting certain candidates into the National Assembly who cannot deliver for Nigeria. And finally, INEC must be forced by the people of Nigeria to become a credible and trustworthy public institution that we can trust.

In Nigeria we like speaking too much grammars , social charms , and we like deceiving ourselves a lot and that is why we are where we are today, the government of national unity he is talking about was understandable because the presidents then were some how legitimate, how do you expect Nigerians in their right senses,Atiku or P.O who they rubbed of his peoples given mandate to join force with election riggers to run an illiberal and illegitimate government ? please for once let's be serious in this country for posterity sake, what i expected from the elites is to be discussing how to deal with election riggers and the people that are manipulating the constitution to get to the office to prevent future reoccurrence ,my dear, you can't get legality out of illegality, the foundation of this government is faulty, injustice to one is injustice to all , please let's be serious for once in this country , and for as long as we are not ready to confront these monsters and perpetrators of injustice head-on,we are just a joker

For me Obasanjo is the reason we are here. Aside his feat in Telecommunications, he achieved nothing, in my opinion. If he had left Gov Soludo and Okonjo Iweala to run the economy without interference we would have been a developed economy now. In power,if he had allowed the MOU signed at that time to fruition we would have had 24/7 electricity He interfered in subnationals governance,he rigged PDP into every state except Lagos, preventing key development across all states, in my state it was under Goodluck Jonathan we saw development because for the first time the people's governor was elected and so goes for most states in the south south l In anti-corruption, EFCC only went after his enemies. Corruption was the other of the day, God fatherism was at the highest peak. In Infrastructure,Contracts were collected, monies paid and nothing delivered In aviation, more air crashes happened under his watch The list is endless.

The big elephant in ghe room which Udenta and Seun are not talking about is the one sided and nepotistic appointments by Tinubu. A government dominated by his inner Yoruba circle lacks the ability for outreach and consensus building on urgent matters of national security
