I'm a landlord and an employer of labor, artisans, security guard. If I have to pay the artisans and security guard the new minimum wage, you better believe that I'll charge my tenants more to recoup my expenses. It then means that the new minimum wage my tenants just received would be sliced off majorly in the new higher rent that my tenants would have to pay me. With a higher minimum wage, cost of goods and services would sky rocket! I'd prefer labor negotiates the retooling of their members so that they become more productive to Nigeria. Send our workers to technological advanced countries where they'd learn skills needed by Western countries' companies which regularly outsource production to countries where the price of labor is low. This country, Nigeria, would get the much needed revenues through employment taxes that is so much needed. In other words, I don't support the huge minimum wage labor is asking for. I'm Obidient, by the way.

Tinubu is a maradona. He promised to pay living wage after removing fuel subsidy. Now he is claiming he can't pay what is not sustainable. 120k minimum wage is sustainable for federal government but not for the state. He should decentralize this minimum wage issues. Every state has labour leader in their state to negotiate with state government. Let FG set good example by paying 120k minimum wage for federal workers. Lagos State and Niger delta states can pay 100k. Other States can pay 60k. All state allocation have tripled since removal of subsidy. No state can pay less than 60k except they are thieves.
