Did you treat this hair before you used it? I bought the exact that you have in your video. You and I have the same texture of hair. However, when I bought the freetress equal Jamaican twist, it looks like squirrel hair. The waves in the hair out of the pack are not as big as the waves in the hair that you use. Did you twist it and hot water treat it before you put it on? I have spent the last two days LOL in the beauty supply store trying to figure it out. so today I purchased the Deep twist to try and achieve the shine and the wave pattern of the hair that you are using. Thank you or anyone who can help me understand how your hair comes out looking so shiny and natural using the same brand and texture of hair.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I guess you could say it's treated bc it's recycled hair that I have installed for marley twists before. Maybe you could try applying product and twisting it prior bc that's pretty much all I have done throughout the time I've had it. Also, I had the marley hair not the Jamaican twists and they stopped making it so it's the closest thing to it!

No, it's one type of hair! Lol I just made sure to give you the full name so you won't purchase the wrong hair by mistake! I didn't have to twist it bc it has a natural pattern to it already, BUT I have used mine numerous times so when you first pull it from the pack it may not look like mine. Just give it some time & wear! 🙂

I purchase the same brand marley hair you have. But for some reason it was stringy and dry it didn't look as good as when i style my hair from one of your other video. The hair you using look shiny and wavy.

Shemeka Davis I have had my hair for quite some time and it has been used for so many different styles so I'm guessing it has changed over time due to products and etc. but that's the hair I purchased!

If you don't mind me butting in,....you maybe able to "spruce" up the hair you purchased with styling aids. I did so with some hair that my sister had that looked very dry and old to be honest. I used some leave in conditioner and then some hair oil and it went from dull to lively looking. Just a suggestion. Best of luck to you.
