Volition Spark ...exactly. Chante' is very much underrated as well as underestimated. She is a badd azz songwriter as well as singer. This woman is a song bird, her octaves r thru the roof. She's the next best thing to Minnie Ripperton. Mariah Carey can't touch but maybe compair but she still can't touch Chante'. Chante' is just as sensual and pure live just as much and even more when she's n the studio. She should b on top just like they tried to make Whitney the songstress princess. I wish they would finally give Chante' her just dues because they r well over due. This woman first two albums/c.d.'s were everything, because everything on them was the bomb as well as her other albums. But to come straight out the gate with a album full of hits(n my opinion the entire album should have won her best new artist as well as some of those heartfelt songs should have won awards, for her first time out n if I can remember correctly n 1992) this woman has been robbed and cheated cause she's a quaddrupple threat.
