I am sooooo sick of people of this modern day saying " dont judge...." First of all if you are a true Christian you should be able to distinguish good from evil. Secondly the bible admonishes and encourages us to correct, reprove, and rebuke fellow believers when needed . Bad morals corrupt good character. Chante is phenomenal and she has been through so much in life. She is truly gifted with song and I am certain that the Lord was blessed by it. I am not in love with the dress though. In another setting it would have had a different effect. Praising Jesus should leave all focus on Jesus. Exposed breasts distract from that. I love the song, and I hope that rather than blasting the dress, we would also pray for her success and for her eyes to be opened. Check out 1 Peter 3: 3-4 God says it best.

Im a preacher and I think it shows that God is going places where the self righteous cant and want go. Name and message of Jesus is moving rapidly across the world. Why are you healing on the Sabbath? Instead of being happy that a blind man was healed, they wanted to condemn Him for doing it on the Sabbath (Jn 9:1). God is using all kind of people to get His Glory. Steve Harvey, D L Hugley, Ricky Smiley and others are consistantly keeping the name of Jesus before the public. While you may, and can find fault in them, they are crying out the praises of Jesus to people that you and I would never reach. There was a woman in those times that would have been considered unclean according to the law. In Leviticus 15:19 “And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.” Ms. Jones, this woman probally had blood stained clothes on that smelled with stinch. She falls in the category of Deborah Cox, Karyn White, etc. The music industry has spots like every industry does. If the position is filled that does not leave room. You ask why is she not as famous as Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston but you actually answered your own question. As long as there is a Mariah in that vocal position there was not a need for a Chante. All of them are talented but the sad truth is when you are in your prime you have to secure a top position and if that position is already filled then you have to rebrand yourself.
