I found the TLM 2.5 years ago and have fallen in love with Gregorian Chants. Thank you for breaking it down for us! Absolutely beautiful thing you’re all doing. Hope you get to visit FL one day. I’ll be praying for you all.

@ It’s the Traditional Latin Mass (Roman Catholic Church) It is the Mass that was said before the 1960s. I recommend to attend a High Mass with the beautiful Gregorian chants

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I want so badly to sing these songs when I make the Latin Mass, but I don't know them--especially this one, my favorite song that helped me so much over the years--which is sung at the end of Mass. Beautiful!!!!

According in an article of Phillip Colowski in 2018 I heard in another channel this pray was written by a monk called German that now is Beatificated. German was born with cerebral paralisy,cleft palad and spina bifida.. his parents loved him very much and wanting for him the best they arrange to take to a Benedict Monastery at the age of 7 where he was going to be educated and raised.. German promptly bloomed and they discovered that beside his body was handicappe his mind was extraordinary. Gernan became an erudict of astronony,teology,matematics and history and poetry .. He teach languages like Arab,Greek and Latin. But was more notable of hin was his gentle disposition and devoted inner life and later became blind. Altough his body was failing his hearth was burning in love and began to compose himnslike Alma Redentoris Mater and Salve Regina. I apologize the gramma and all mistakes but I am from Costa Rica andd blind. Thank you for teaching me one of my favorities prayers love it❤️🔥

This has been an excellent addition to our TAN books curriculum to learn the latin for the week. Learning it sung and not just recited has been helpful for both my kids and I to memorize. Excited the kids will hopefully try to join in at the end of mass now ❤

very helpful! this video helped me learn this in a week! Question: is the pulsating based on a particular school of teaching or is it just an observation of stylistic variation? I've heard in a recording where they do pulsate, so just curious where this came from... It does also sound odd to me. so I tried it, but more subtle and less punctuated individuation, and was surprised that it sounded like a modest/temperate vibrato

Should the Amen be added at the end when chanting this?
@FlorianiSacredMusicАй бұрын
The Salve Regina is not typically ended with a sung "amen". I suppose there is nothing stopping you from adding one, but I've never heard it done.
