Chante has a tonality like Diana Ross..... Mesmerizing... I don't know who's managing her career but she should be a mega star!! I love her soul!!!!

Chante is in a class all by herself. Cannot think of anyone these days that is as classy. Cannot understand why she was not a huge star

+Oleda Cooke Um I like Chante but you obviously missed Bitter the song and video where she stripped down to nothing but her panties and was dropping the n word every other line. It wasn't classy. I think she never caught on cuz most of her songs were more for the older crowd than the younger crowd. And they were so long too like 5-7 mins
@LadyNKC8 жыл бұрын
Trini UsaCutie Nope. I didn't see the video. I was referring to her luve performances I heard the song and thought it was a lame attempt at trying to be more mainstream. I'm not a fan of her more R&B flavored songs. Although on that one, I dug everything about it but the lyrics. LOL

She was part of that last class to come out with pure talent! Also Check out Shanice "Fall For You and Silent Prayer" These Girls had voices like you wouldn't believe but recording companies were a mess around that time as they still are! You want to hear something beautiful checking Melba Moore's Falling and listen to her carry a note for close to 25 seconds! Amazing, this was before Mariah and Whitney!

Chante is my fav. Her voice is so soft & beautiful. Unfortunately I wasted about $100 2wks ago on tickets to a concert at a club in Atlanta. She and Kenny were singing to tracks. I was so disappointed that I left in the middle. They had the house band open up with several singers competing for money. To go from a house band to professional singers singing from tracks was very disappointing. Chante still look good.

I love MC and Chante to death! Not throwing any shade but in my opinion Chante is the better singer! While they both can reach the whistle register, Chante seems to do it with more ease and the acrobatics she can do in the whistle register are phenomenal! Her lower and middle registers are also very strong where MC's lower and middle seem worn at times! MC may have years on Chante but Ms.Moore is a force to be reckoned with! She is in the class with Minnie Ripperton and Deniece Williams!
