I bought this entire collection and totally agree with all your thoughts! Love the matte eyeshadows and appreciate the lack of glitter in the luminescent shades. I’m also very happy with the lip veils, which I prefer to the lip chics anyway. Chantecaille’s best collection in ages, in my opinion ♥️

Not saying I won’t pick up something along the way…but…when you think about those 4 colors/like a quad costing >$200, you could buy 2 Cle de Peau quads with 1 case for the same price. I think they have lost their minds with their pricing. Thanks for the review Abby ❤

Hi Abby, do you think they’ve changed the formula of the mascara? It’s been my HG for years and now it won’t hold a curl and looks so average whereas before it looked really lovely. I’m finding I’m using a drugstore one more as I actually prefer it 😂

@@tallisinwonderland4724 I don't think so... I just bought the two-fer at the Nordstrom Sale and they are performing the same for me. That said- sometimes- I have to switch up my shampoo/conditioner because my hair gets "used to it" and it needs a little change. So maybe you just need a change up and hopefully when you go back to it you will love it again. xoxo

I own horses and have rescued so so many. I strongly urge anyone to always support the wild mustangs because if you are NOT aware of what happens to them by the BLM it is absolutely heartbreaking. I will purchase every single item in this collection. 😘

I have been waiting on a matte shade like that chocolate, will be picking that up! So nice to hear the luminescent shades are not as glittery as they used to be so I might try one of those. Zoe- I am in love with the MATTE shades and especially Palomino! I know it just looks like bone shade... but it is a bit more! I just love it on its own with the Bay liner. My go-to eye look since I got these! The formula is amazing! xoxo

These look lovely on you Abby - the shimmers are definitely my favourite. I do, however have concerns about the philanthropy aspect as my understanding is that a tiny portion of sales actually go towards the causes. Of course any contribution is welcomed but 10% or thereabouts is hardly a king's ransom considering the ridiculously high prices the brand charges. All the colours in this collection however do look really nice 😊

Hi Abby, beautiful shades, I have tiny eyelashes so for me personally I'm loving the new huda beauty mascara works fantastic fir my tiny lashes. I tried the Chantecaille faux cils longest lash mascara for 18 months did not see a huge difference to be completely honest with you. If Chantecaille weren't so expensive and were freely available in Australia, I would have bought the entire range! As much as I love colour, I'm a great believer in wearing natural shades from our environments. Whenever I use shadow, after the primer I will always come in with a basic shadow all over lids to help the shadows adhere and stay in place. I find this has helped me due to having oily lids, especially when younger. I'm a fan of beautiful packaging too and think it would look lovely to have this base shade in such a pretty case to bring out when needed. During most of my 20's and 30's, my most used shades were browns like these. I used colour as well, but found these shades so much more convenient and looked stunning with a nice red or neutral lip. It's rather strange that this breed of wild horse has only just raised it's head in Utah after all of this time, without anyone knowing of their existence. If this breed has lasted all of this time by itself, why should mankind be getting involved now and interfering? There's an argument for leaving them be, to continue their lives without human intervention. We have an issue similar to this with a breed of wild horses that have been introduced and set free. They destroy the environment they inhabit and it's quite a contentious issue for and against. In our outback, we have well over a million wild camels terrorising our deserts! Another introduced species. It's just my humble opinion, but I don't think this is an issue that should involve a Cosmetic Company. Protecting species that are becoming extinct is a great cause, but sometimes there can be more to a conservation issue that has been left out. I'm off my soapbox now, and thought this collection looked lovely. The demand is definitely here and in New Zealand for Chantecaille Products, so it baffles me why they continue not to ship to us. The stock we do get is most often so far behind, that you'd have to be very lucky to score anything thats L/E. Personally, I don't believe in us all as individuals shipping our own orders from literally the other side of the globle, it's not right on our fragile environments. I'd rather go without. It would be so much easier for everyone if the brand was simply made available and shipped to us in one swoop. Those shades look so nice on you Abby. I don't think many can ever go wrong wearing these beautiful colours. Do you know when youre getting the Chanel Byzance Collection? Once I saw how beautiful those four Quads were, I ordered them all. You know how much I love jewels, so a colour scheme based on jewel-tone shades was simply too much for me to say no! Hopefully, they'll be here on Monday morning. I'm also in love with the Prada Collection. If you do chose to review one, please don't make it the brown one with the purple pop of colour, yet something a tad more adventurous? It's hard for me to chose one over the other, but maybe you could try the one with the green pop? I was talking to Prada yesterday and it's still not known when they'll be arriving. At least it will give me time to save for them all. Sometimes, it's just too hard to choose and we deserve the right to indulge. As long as the prices aren't absolutely absurd, I'm saving for all six palettes and wouldn't mind trying a few lipsticks either! It will take much will-power, but I'll try! Much love, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

Sorry about getting on my soapbox today, but I live at the very base of the Australian Alps where a breed of wild horse called a Brumby has been breeding out of control and destroying our fragile environment. The go ahead to cull these horses from the air was only just given today, so it's still rather a raw issue with me. I hate to think of animals being culled, but it's an unfortunate necessity in our case. I suppose that hearing and reading so many going on about Chantecaille hit a raw nerve. I'm in love with my Chanel Quads! I've seen some US reviews trickle in, yet others are being told that they will release later in the month.🤷🏼‍♀️ Knowing your tastes, I'd certainly recommend either Cristal or Vénitienne for you, or both! I went in for the boldest two first, yet it's the two I've recommended for you which are my favourites. The lightest shade in each palette actually has a shift of colour to the sparkling shadow. With Cristal, it's a blue shift, Vénitienne has in it a green shift, Baroque is simply a sparkling white and the last has a rose gold shift. These shadows have been extremely misrepresented in promotional pictures and don't show just how pigmented the shades can become. The red from Baroque looks like a pale pink! It wasn't until I played with them that I saw the potential in each one. Don't go buying the Prada Palettes if they are not for you. I doubt they would necessarily resonate with most. I'm just the quirky eccentric exception. There are so many releases already and I know they will keep coming until after Christmas with sales etc. I thought we may have had a small break. Dior hasn't released their new Quints here - no surprise. The lighter one reminds me of Golden Bouquet which I own, but I do like the other. I'm reaching deep for my will-power! I'm doing my best to stay on the wagon and spend on other things that need doing, especially with Spring quickly approaching. Much love.💖

@@rhonda6791 I'm afraid that Mecca will be far behind in ever receiving a Limited Edition release. It could be months away. They do get them eventually, yet you may want to try to ask them when they think they could arrive. They aren't that helpful in supplying dates though and usually will only tell you to keep an eye on the website. All the while, the prices will be rising through the roof, as they do every few months or so. The regular individual shadows are $90.00 and at SpaceNK today, where they're having a 20% off Sale they are $95.00. Problem is that they have increased the prices before having this sale. They have the Quad from the Wild Meadows Collection which I purchased as a one off try for $110.00. It's been increased to $140.00! This is the problem with Chantecaille, the prices continue to rise despite that the stock is from older releases. You can still pick up the Jaguar Quad from SpaceNK, yet it's been obscenely increased too. You also have to spend about $175.00 before you get to free shipping. It used to be cheaper to purchase from SpaceNK, but not anymore and they are even further behind Mecca in receiving Limited Edition releases. There is no sign of it at all on the website and nothing at SpaceNK in London who sells Chantecaille to Australia. I've reached out to Chantecaille about shipping to Australia and New Zealand, yet get the same excuse that they are a small company and it's too much for them to take on yet. That just means that they don't care enough to ship to us as our population doesn't make it worth it for them. Their interests lay more in China and their popularity there, not in Australia. As I live about a four hour drive from the Melbourne Mecca Store, I'm not able to see in person. You could try and give them a call and see what information you can get from a Sales Assistance. They're often more friendly with sharing when products may drop. I'm sorry that that's the best I can do. If you know anyone from the US or UK who can help you out, that's really the best I can offer for now. They will eventually arrive to Mecca, but you need to be very quick to leap onto the release when it is listed. They sure don't make it easy for us. Best of luck.💖

I picked up all four eye shades and they arrived yesterday 🎉 Can’t wait to wear them today! I just couldn’t resist as I, too, swoon for neutrals and this shadow format from Chantecaille is jut so collectible. Now, I am only missing Cheetah, Giraffe, and Rhino since I also picked up Zebra and Crane during the sale and they’re stunning. Love love love these. I have various Lip Chics, but no Lip Veils. Abby, would you say they are more like the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash??

YAY! I am so glad you picked them up! I am LOVING this whole collection so much. AND as far as the Lip Veils -- I would say they are more of a hybrid between the traditional Chanel Moisturizing Lipstick and the Coco Flash. These are not as thin feeling as the Flash. They grip the lip and are not as glossy but not flat either. I sounds like you might like the Veil. I hope this helps. P.S.- TUTU showed up! LOVE it and it is the perfect Barbie perfume. xoxo

@@AbbyBlissWhite Yay! I was hoping Tutu would be a hit :). The lip veils sound perfect, you had me at “grip the lip”, that’s what I need. And the shadows are superb. I threw Palomino and Roan in my work bag this morning after watching and finished my makeup at the office with Palomino as an all-over and then Roan as the topper and it looks so good. I didn’t have time for eyeliner but it didn’t even matter. 7 hours later and no creasing on my oily lids, just my standard MAC Paint Pot as a primer. SO happy I got these.

Hmmm… you have me thinking I might need the matte shades and a lippie. I don’t care for anything with shimmer, no matter how little but the mattes are enticing. And of course horses are involved. 😂. Would you say the brown leans cool at all?

Yep! I have to say the mattes are the best! AND yes, horses are another PLUS! THe brown is a rich chocolate brown with a touch of coolness. I love both Palamino and Bay. I am wearing just the mattes today and LOVE them. AND Laurel Lippie!! I hope this helps. xoxo

Yesterday I ordered the two mattes and the begonia lip veil...now I want the other shadows too! I absolutely love Chantecaille but had decided it was too spendy for me--until I saw this new collection! I have a horse so of course can't NOT order this!!!!

Yes. This is a Limited Edition release. I hope they end up keeping the single shadows as part of the line up but as of right now - it is LE. I hope this helps. xoxo
