I'm the unofficial packrat of my family lol, because I carry a bag with me Everywhere. It usually has one book at all times, my mini Bible, posted notes, yellow coloring pencell for highlighting, and all sorts of other random bits that I think I might need later on lol. 🤣 (I defiantly need to look into getting some little pouches, that way my bag wont look like a warzone of clutter lol.)

I also bring a physical book and my kindle as backup. I’m someone who actually prefers ebook reading. I get distracted by kids, all the time, and with an ebook it’s easier to find my place since there’s so much less on the “page”.

I can totally understand this! I had really long school bus rides back in the day and mastered the art of stopping anywhere on the page and always being able to find my spot again right away. It was like training for having kids.

Lip gloss! I have it in my purse, backpack, book bag, coat pockets, cup holder in my car, drawers in the living room, bedroom... At one point in my life I used to keep extra books in the trunk of my car, but I don't spend nearly as much time driving around with my kids to places far from home, so I don't do that any more. I'm usually good with a book and a notebook, but if I'm near the end of a book I bring an extra. A few months ago I left the house with only one book, ended up in the emergency room with a kid and finished my book after a few hours. It was torture not having anything to read and just sitting there for hours and hours more.

Love this! Based on one of your earlier videos, I took a book to a doctors appointment with me - but then I had the awkward moment when I was called back, and I was trying to shove my large book into my already full purse 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. I need a book tote!! 📚

I recommend carrying a flashlight, a "RovyVon Aurora A1" or "Nitecore Tip 2 (or Tip SE)" are very good options. They are reliable, not too expensive, and durable.

Wow! I loved this video. What a fantastic idea! I also love seeing what people are carrying with them in their purse or backpack. Us girls can never have too many bags! Anyway, I always have a flashlight, Kleenex, some gum or mints, a battery pack and charging cable for my phone and e-reader, and headphones. The pouches are definitely the way to go! I also carry all the stuff you mentioned. Sometimes I have my Switch along as well Just depends on the day.

Got some great ideas on the bags and pouches. I carry so much the same but less organized! 🤣🤣🤣 I got a Kindle this past summer and that has helped the weight of my bag too!!!!

Ooo I love the book pouches! I have a large bag that I put things in and if I'm not careful, the covers can get bent. A book pouch would solve that problem. I always have to have my lip balm with me.

I do carry small pouches for small items like cosmetics / medical stuff. I usually put handkerchiefs, lip balm and cleaning cloth for glasses in my purse. And usually i have a pen somewhere, but as I mostly read library books I dont mark anything obviously. Either 1 physical book and my cell phone with many google ebooks and an e book reader on it. Such a book tote would come in handy!

I pretty much have all the same as you except I take my headphones too in case I want to listen to an audiobook or a Marco Polo message a friend sends me or something. I got these cool new ones that don’t cancel out all the noise so I can hear my surroundings well but somehow you can still hear what you’re listening to well too. I wear them at work and forget I have them on all the time!

Currently i only take my kindle with me to dr/waiting and read my "in bed" book since that's the time i read the most on my kindle. BUT if I'm going away for the weekend... watch out. 😅 several physical books plus the kindle and my pouch of highlighters/tabs/mechanical pencils.
