Chante is fantastic and has an insane control over her whistle register as you saw. Even though she's compared to Mariah, like in one of her concerts someone said "Mariah who?" she was like "ya'll don't be saying that she's fantastic leave her alone" so humble and so kind but so underrated and underappreciated. It's insane how people tend to not bring her up when talking about whistle register.

She made me misty.. everytime I hear her. And the urban community, about 30 and up knows this 90’s Queen. Glad she was able to come back and make people remember. Honey, It Chante Moore! She literally has the best voice on the planet right now. She possesses ALL the registers and is SOLID with them all. Her voice is reliable. She’s been doing this for decades, and I swear if you watch older videos, you can hear that her voice is stronger and better in every register NOW. but for the life of me, I cannot understand why a record company doesn’t have her put out a fierce and fiery album. I’m a male mezzo tenor, and I have a wicked whistle register… But she posses the airy AND the strong whistles. I don’t have the airy ones. She deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, not just on @BET and @Soultrain award shows. And she’s 55 years old. I would love to get her and Lisa Fisher into a room together.

Whistle range is rare, so I get the 'novelty' of it. But I've never been a fan of it. Growing up with the rich, full vibrato and chest voices of gospel greats and even home choir, leaves me with fondness of alto and contralto voices. Chante and Angela Winbush seem to have a great mix of all ranges!

It's alright. It's alight. Chante has an amazing voice. I've purchased three of her albums. She is a classic example of an S Tier vocalist who doesn't doesn't get enough great material then has a B Tier career. They end their career on a reality TV show or a Vegas supper club.
