Chanting Om mani padme Om

Two brothers in mountain side woods chanting a simple fundamental meditative chant : Om....Mani.....Padme....Om, "The jewel in the flower".
Sickness. Old age. Death ... comes to us all, unless a car hits you or you fall off a high cliff, then you might go directly to death. But this flower, this body eventually die and dissolves. But the jewel "inside", what is that? What is that light shining out? What is it?
