CHAOS at Hawkstone 🥊 | MXGB RD. 4

Wild day of racing at Hawkstone after taking a week off from MXGP. I came into the 4th round of the British championship with the red plate and left without it... An unavoidable crash in the first turn of Moto 1, and with a shortened race left me with a finish of 13th after coming from last. In Moto 2 I charged to 2nd after the leader got away following the train my teammate ahead created lol. Was an exciting end to the race of what I thought was a good clean battle, but Cas Valk clearly didn't. Finished off in 2nd and salvaged points to only be 8 down with 2 rounds left.

That was an extremely mature way of handling the situation. As soon as you apologized Valk realized he may have been a bit too hot and that's fine. We are all extremely passionate and can lose our heads. Good on both of you.

Clearly you werent trying to take him out, your head was looking forward always. You just made it hard to pass, you forced him to take undesirable lines and check up. Well done. Great riding. “Faster rider”? This track was tough to pass on, I just made it harder on him (as I should). I am doing what I can to beat him in the championship as I had the red plate coming into this round, and if you think he’s the faster of us 2, then he would have been able to blow right by me.

I have to give you a lot of credit. Im a welder, own a little company. I raced a lot lot. Rarely a full series but whoever work allowed. I never did keep my cool when someone did that.🤣couldn’t help it. That said once he’s in that mindset , angry I get them first every single time. They become very predictable, bait em in and take ‘em out. You did much better good job kid👍
