Ribbed "milk" glass is actually for a refrigerator. Were made for the door. They had lids for food storage. I use mine as a flower vase.

Like Canada we can also get milk in plastic bags here in South Africa The ribbed milk glass container would be perfect for those to keep in the door of the fridge.

The Ribbed Milk Glass Container is a refrigerator dish. It originally had a clear plastic lid. 40’s Era Hazel Atlas. I have one without the lid too. I use it as a toothbrush holder

I want to move to your state!! The prices that come with your finds are simply fantastic. What you were getting for $1 to $3 was amazing. Central California (more like the entire state) those items would start at $5.99 and up!😮 My chances at better prices would have to be garage sales.. which have been few this year!’ I would love to thrift with you both!!👍

Canada has a ban on single use plastic check out bags. I am surprised that you don't use cloth bags for your thrift haul finds. I hope you have a recycling program for all your plastic single use bags or return them to the thrift store to be reused. Love watching all your great thrift haul transformations.

I've been to 5 charity /thrift shops within the first week and found some amazing things, can't buy too much as I will be returning home by plane. The prices and assortment in that store are so much better than here in Metro Detroit. Our thrift stores think they are operating boutiques judging by their prices. And our Salvation Army stores take anything that seems half way decent, vintagey, or designery, and send them to an actual Salvation Army boutique where they charge up the wazoo for them. Rumor is that the thrifts also list anything cool on Ebay as well. It's sad and makes me not want to donate them at all. I've taken to putting things I don't want on the curb with 'free' signs.
