U might want to start making a rock mountain...in the near future...for the further future when you start to mess with nuclear...you'll already have a mountain of only rock so you wont have to prepare it...and you could just have it running in the background...just have it go up off the edge of the island...and have it at least 3 tiles wide so you can dump new rock in the outside tiles as your level mining the middle tile...and in theory you should be able to tell when the rock is getting low...based on how far out the excavators are or you can use a few large storages and a loose dump into a terraformed pit edged with high retaining walls...but have the dump higher then the pit...so it can grow higher then the walls but not spill out...then from the open side of the pit you can start to mine the rock...and it will be replenished as its mined

Only problem is im going to need all the material i can get to terrafor and bridge to the other islands.

@@JTMPLays it doesnt have to be huge...nd if u use the second idea...you can control the amount it takes from the island...juss by turning off the input storage

U should devote a tower to dumping the dumpables...like 10 or 20 trucks that are assigned to it...have the established towers, slag and waste producers route to the dumping tower's storages...and the tower will work on getting rid of the dumpables...put the tower near the shipyard and move the working area around

This way it frees up some of the trucks to do more important things

30:30...When you delete with unity the items go to any place that needs it by priority then the rest goes to storage if you have it...bc you already built the storage most of the parts went to maintenance buildings and then the rest went to the new storage
