THE PRESTIGGGGE ON OUR SNOWBALLS 🥶🥶🥶 back to back wins to close the season, yes please! I’m not even disappointed, snowstorm couldn’t have raced any better, to be so incredibly quick even after the restart is phenomenal. For the first time we’ve had an exemplary season, I’m so happy. We gave CCE a serious run for their money a good contingent of this season and ended up firmly on the podium, I’m super proud. Disappointing for cerulean though, should’ve won the individual championship but keeping it together after a red flag, that’s no easy task. I really enjoyed this season, felt way more engaged than last season personally.

Yellow Eye definitely trained for Red Flag recoveries after the incident earlier this season. I doubt that kind of dramatic drop will happen again. I still think he's a bit rattled, and it might be a good idea for him to take a break, but I can't complain too much if Yellow Eye stays as the CCE second for next season.

Yellow Eye absolutely stays as CCE #2, they got 7th in individual and were the best teammate Red Eye could have. Also, every time Red Eye and Yellow Eye have been on a team together, Red Eye has won the individual championship. We saw what happened with Blue Eye, let’s not do that again

Even without Red Eye, Yellow Eye is a strong competitor all their own. They got seventh place in the individual standings. That means that about two-thirds of the teams have their best racer outperformed by our worst racer. Yellow Eye would be team captain on any other team, but they'd rather be part of a legendary team than star player on another team. Yellow eye is kind of also the GOAT in their own way, definitely don't overlook them.

I feel like because of how dominate Red Eye is, people forget that Yellow Eye is a pretty darn good racer too. They finished 3rd in the individual championship in S2. Sure, they've struggle subsequently but it can't be easy racing in the shadow of a generational talent like RI. As a Hazers fan, this is the race that has by far had the biggest leap from edge-of-seat excitement... To just pure disappointment and infuriating frustration. That really sucked that the lack of quality check caused that stoppage, I'm really disappointed in the Midnight Wisps for not having better inspections over their equipment. Well done to Hazers in spite of it. A well earned, if slightly bitter, 3rd place!

That stoppage was fatal for the Hazers and Cerulean, honestly it could’ve continued as it was, everyone suffers the same. I’m devastated and am calling for better from the track crew going forwards. The integrity of the sport relies on it.

Marbula One is really bringing out the best in these marbles. After S2 and the absolute dominance of Red Eye, we are seeing individuals really step up and be consistent contenders. But it takes two to win a team championship. Cerulean can't do it alone, for example. We complain about Yellow Eye a lot, but when the chips are on the table, Yellow Eye brings it when it counts.

Fun facts : Cats only lost the overall championship on lap 2 to the Hazers (HAZ-137 CCE-136)..... Also ducks were only on the podium in lap 6, 12 and 13...... Razzies had 5th overall since only lap 13 (RSP -105 ORA-104) ..... Red Eye had the individual championship on only the first and last 2 laps......

Yellow Eye is partially vindicated from the previous race stoppage where he had a commanding lead taken away from him, and finished a disappointing 6th. Still, I don't like the rule that a red flag puts them back at the pole in the place they were at the time of the stoppage. They have the ability to restart them relative to the lead they held at the time of the race stoppage, e.g., if Cerulean held a 1.88 sec. lead at the time of the red flag, then they start 1.88 secs ahead of the second marble etc down the line. I think the reason for not doing that is they would have to have a human hand releasing the marbles. They might be able to create a device that releases them one at a time with an off screen human opening the gate in sync with their position at the time of the red flag. Complicated, perhaps, but infinitely more fair than the current system. Cerulean, as was Yellow Eye, was unfairly punished for an issue not of his making. That said, all hail CCE and Red Eye!!! Another Marbula One team and individual championship! Gotta admit when Yellow fell so far behind (at one point, he was in 17th place!), I was certain he was going to be to blame for CCE and Red Eye losing out. But, even before the red flag, he put his act together, climbed slowly but surely all the way up to sixth, then back to seventh for the restart. And to capture fastest lap on the penultimate lap, and take the Silver restored my faith in the marble that has so long raced in the shadow of his brilliant race mate, Red Eye. Yellow Eye, I can't say if you are going to become CCE's heir apparent to Red Eye (Blue Eye is not quite there yet), but you earned your "eye" today! Three Cheers for Crazy Cat's Eyes!! Three Cheers for Red Eye!! And Three Cheers for Yellow Eyes!!! The Eyes are On the Prize!!!!

As was pointed out in the comments during other red flags, these are the rules of the format (Formula One and Marbula One). It may seem unfair, but these are the rules that all these marbles know and have agreed to. They go over it in practice, it factors into their racing strategy, and it's the sort of thing that they know could happen every single race. For these athletes, it's as much a part of the game as the qualifying or the number of laps.

@@tedonica I see your point. No one is forced to race in these competitions. That said, just because the marbles agree to a set of rules does not make them immutable. If, during the history of these races it becomes apparent that a particular rule or set of rules has a tendency to create unfair consequences, then it is vital to the health of Marbula One and the Marble Leagues allow dissent and that such inequities be resolved through rule amendments. I'm not suggesting a revolt or overturning past events. Instead, only that the Jelles should explore a more fair resolution to the red flag restarts than what is currently in place. Cerulean can make a valid argument that given the lead they had and the number of laps left, the odds of them taking the checkered flag were substantially in their favor. Conversely, and arguing against CCE's positive results, if being fair, Yellow Eye unfairly benefitted from the red flag, in much the same manner as he was unjustly punished for the red flag in the race he faltered. It strikes me as rather cavalier to shrug our collective shoulders and say, "Dems da rules", when the rules, as written, provide for inequitable results to the races we love. And just because the "unfairness" is equally shouldered by every marble out there doesn't change the fact it's still unfair.

This was a crazy finish to a crazy good season. The fight that Yellow Eye put on this race was incredible, droping to 17th at the start and ending the race 2nd is unbelievable!!
