YOU ARE INSANE! Everytime I blinked there was a new emergence of this masterpiece! And I couldn't agree more: the connection between artist and viewer increases with "chaos" or less detail. The viewer is invited to participate, and engage their imagination into the world of the drawing (in this piece - the mysteriousness)! PS - No art teacher has told me to squint. Game changer.

I love art work like this . I’m getting a Marilyn Monroe vibe from this art work. Despair and sorrow captured in a dark moment. I know it is not her , its the emotion.

Sensei MC. I'm just starting to charcoal. Never touched it till now. Nor any art in 30yrs. Your style, the looseness, the flow you have. That's for me bro. Just that. Don't care what it looks like. It's the flow brother. Love it 👍

I love your work and process. The freedom in style and creating of "chaos" certainly pulls viewers in to look closer. What do you use to preserve your charcoal pieces? Any kind of Fixative or Matte Finish. I must admit I did a HUGE mistake on a piece I just finished (would be one of my favs so far). I used a Krylon Matte Finish spray for charcoal drawings. Though I thought I used it lightly, it turned the whole thing a frosted white and destroyed the value range. Bummed. Sure wish there was a way to bring back the "blacks". But I would like to use some kind of fixative to minimize smearing. Thanks again for your excellent videos - the art and commentary is valuable.

I use to think mixing charcoal result in dirty looking drawings base on the samples I seen. The variations (as I would do it) would not look dirty.

I’m new too this form of art and when I watched your videos it’s inspired to try charcoal I really like the concept of making something out of chaos I actually believe in the concept of chaos that brings about change especially in humanity and the world we have a habit of being chaotic in general in humanity I mean great videos
